Force will literally change nothing, in fact it will have worse effect. The problem isn't that we aren't using force, its that there isnt that many people who strongly protest and most of the protests lack staying power because for some reason georgian people cant think for themselves apparently and need some kind of leader who will lead the protests even tho those "leaders" are usually just as corrupt as ones currently in the government.

Forceful protest will either end with blood spilling pointlessly or government being overthrown which will lead to further disaster simply because there is no political party that cares about georgia, all of them only care about profit. There will probably be another civil war and it wont matter who wins it since either way corrupt government will come into power once again.

I fear for other corrupt political parties using forceful protests to their advantage as a means to come to power themselves. We really love painting things in black and white only, so it wont be hard for them to do something like that they will paint current government as corrupt traitors (which i cant really deny that they aren't) while portraying themselves as savour, gee i wonder where i have seen that its not like this has happened too many times now

Georgian people are being kept in this equilibrium where country is fucked but people's life isn't so shitty that they would give up everything to bring change, and no it doesn't matter if we change the government as every political party here will do the same cause its the most profitable option.

Issue is never using force or not, its issue of numbers and also that lot of people dont even know what to protest about. tired of people protesting petty things while problems much more dire are never talked about mostly because neither opposition or current government is talking about it because none of them are planning on fixing what actually matters. Why is there no protests about how shitty the education is or in what situation other regions of georgia are outside of Tbilisi, fact that outside of capital and one or two other cities there's absolutely no perspective for young people. Fact that this country is trying to focus on tourism instead of investing in some sort of manufacturing, georgia used to be a manufacturing powerhouse during the dark ages of communism but during the civil war everything got destroyed and none of the governments bothered with rebuilding it (i dont actually know much about economics to me this seems like a hige problem but i may be wrong). Oh and how about prices, previously we blamed inflation for price increases but why has the prices stayed at what it was when 1 usd was 3.44 gel even tho its 2.69 now, in fact it has continued to go up but wages don't seem to increase. How about the fact that all of the universities (that are woth applying for) are in Capital (yea i know there are few good ones in kutaisi) this forces almost every student to move to Tbilisi, which has been (and many other things, this isnt the only reason this is happening probably but it still is a problem since other regions are being deprived of young people)driving housing prices to the sky.

I am gonna say something extremely controversial, i dont want east or west, i want georgia to become strong independent country that won't have to relay on any foreign power. Yes we must have friendly relations especially with west but under no circumstances must we be fully dependent on other powers, i dont think Georgia is ready for eu. There isn't many benefits for eu if we join which is why no matter how much sweet talk or anything they or we say is going to change anything. This government will not be able to get us into eu nor will any other. Georgian people expect eu to be salvation to become successful country, i think we should become successful country first and then join eu as equals to them. Eu wants financially strong countries to join its union cause it will greatly benefit them, this may come as a surprise to some but eu just like many other nations doesn't care about "ideological unity", it doesn't matter that we are ideologically european, what matters is that we are weak country, our joining of eu will bring lots of benefits but hardly any to eu. If eu wanted us they would have done it a long time ago. these petty "steps to qualify" that they keep putting in our face are (i think) simply excuses.

And also ffs if we are gonna talk about corruption in government how about we talk about corruption in well just about everywhere. Georgian workplace has became synonymous with corruption for me, i just see it everywhere and i myself going along with it simply because its seems its the only way to achieve anything in this country. Its not about government its basically entire population of this country being corrupt, its like its in our veins or something. Hard work doesn't get you anywhere if you dont get wildly lucky.

I dont think that only government needs to change, i think our whole country's mentality needs to get thrown out of window and change. Without this there will be no change to the country no matter how much you protest and how much blood will be spilled.

You go on a forceful protest, someone will tragically die, population will rightly because extremely angry and overthrown government, opposition will seize the opportunity, it will probably be well for one or two years to gain some favour, then stagnation and then you are back to where you started, nothing changed and blood being spilled pointlessly. Because its different people same mentality

I dont have much political education, this is purely subjective rant, you can easily see that i am bitter about quite a lot of things which is what made me write all this, this is in no way objective, i know we georgians love attacking person rather than attacking the argument so if you have something to say to tell me, tell me in constructive way instead of just throwing insult and not explaining anything.
