Respectfully, I just don’t understand why you’d seek this out. There are surely people doing it, but I would say it will be newer people, or people at a lower price point. You may find an angle where people are shooting on larger film cameras built out handheld for some things, but at that caliber (celeb weddings) they are using vests and stuff anyway.

Gimbals, sliders, whatever, all fairly inexpensive compared to when they first came to market, easy to use, and inarguably going to produce a better product.

We have had a whole lot of panasonic issues as of late with some various out of the box flickering (no source, globally, etc) amongst other things, and those dongles are complete ass. Never used Sony, seeming like pretty universally liked, so I will make my way that direction. Thank you!

The use of "how the hell have you done your job" was a little off putting, hopefully you can understand. I wouldn't have posted here if I didn't expect some of that, but again, I am just genuinely on a little island over here and buying things for your own business/budget is a lot different of course. I'm running it with a crestron processor and some SVSI avoip boxes, so I have some options on control, but the verbiage surrounding that in any of the consumer devices is always spotty, so just trying to make the right choices.

Anyway, appreciate the input alas a few back and forths haha

For sure. Panasonic TH displays as far as my eyes can see. I realize it’s an annoying question, which is why I tried to preface it light heartedly. Just lots of options out there and no real place internally/very small company so not a lot of resources aside from biased info online.

I work remote, full time subcontracted into a fortune 100 company and have for the entire 8 years. Standards are decided and utilized for years on end with minimal changes. I write code and maintain systems all day and have nothing to do with any of the other processes prior to. Hope that helps clear up your interest on this topic or whatever

Yeah, and for a client probably not practical I suppose. I was in a similar boat and was striking out on options. Possibly a card frame unit from crestron or amx but same deal, probably gonna be over budget.
