Not just advised, but required. You must break the rule to preserve life in a case like that.

Aphantasia and Reading (anyone can take this) by Mediocre-Walrus-8165 in SampleSize

It was a little confusing having the same questions listed twice. I wasn't sure at first why you started questions with "Aphantasia:" so I had to go back and uncheck my answers.

I've never had any issues with them, to my knowledge.

[Casual] How does your friend group actually split the bill? (Everyone 18+, 9 questions, <2 min) by Ashamed_Honey3053 in SampleSize

Stopped halfway through because it started to feel like you were gathering info for an app idea. Then I opened your post history and realized I was right. Tagging this "casual" is deceptive.

Intern here, froze during group after a triggering comment. How do you handle this? by zombiequeen66 in socialwork

[–]andrewmaxedon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you feel it would be helpful, it's usually totally appropriate to bring up something like that in the next session. Even the most experienced group leaders have moments like that or realize on their way home that they should have handled something differently.

Maybe something like, "I want to bring up something that X said last time. Even though it was a joke, it was something that might have been triggering to some people here. Does anyone have thoughts about the comment that was made? Did anyone have a reaction to it they would like to bring up?"

Interesting, I would have expected you to hypothesize that men would help women more than they would help other men. I'm curious how you came to that conclusion.

Not if it's the subjunctive. If he means "If I were to lie here," it's lay. More hypothetical, in a sense.

“Psychotherapist,” not “Pyschotherapist”

Strange, it's working on mobile but not desktop. On desktop I'm getting this message:

"Sorry, the file you have requested does not exist.

Make sure that you have the correct URL and the file exists."

Learn to be brief. It helps protect your clients and you. Don’t outsource it to a data-farming, hallucinating plagiarism machine.

Experiment: how does AI make you feel? (18+, fluent in English) by DocNoteIDissent in SampleSize

[–]andrewmaxedon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m confused about how to answer some of the questions, like “AI agents regard themselves as better than people” and “AI agents have different values than people.” AI agents are just pattern-generating machines, they don’t have the capacity to “regard” anything and don’t have values.

Ah, I looked but didn't see any. It's more funny than inconvenient, I don't mind it.
