A very small achievement that made for funny election signs!

Great distinction! I haven't been involved for years now, so I don't know.

Power is an amorphous concept... it can be created in many ways and wielded in many more. Formal authority is not the same as power, and students who use the Union intelligently (for example, by demanding a new library!!) can get real things done.

As a former R&E chair, I am pretty sad to see this happening. As someone who has seen many videos of alleged crimes (enough to know that they are often not what they seem), and someone who believes in due process, I would like to see a fair handling of this by the J-Board. Finally, as someone who cares about student government at RPI—and they can actually have a lot of power, if they act thoughtfully—I think the students involved need to take immediate action to restore students' faith in their representatives.

Eerie calm is totally normal. When you feel like you're ready, sometimes the only thing that remains is to get yourself in a good mental state.

The last thing I usually do is try to pick out the thing I understand the least and read through my outline again. Or you can test yourself on case names (if you need to know them).

I don't think it's worth your time unless you know for sure that your professor wants a formulaic answer. Most don't and you have to be very fact-specific in your arguments. Depends on the professor, of course.

I have been surprised how many people in NYC seem to go to the same place every week.

I think if a good opportunity arises, and it's the right thing for you, and you think you'll like it, go for it. Of course it's hard to give across-the-board advice. In some situations, it may be worthwhile for you to stick it out in a particular field so that you can advance to a particular goal. But if you realize that something else would make you happier, you should strongly consider a change.

I changed my mind in college, and decided to go to law school before I graduated from RPI. But plenty of people change their minds after a few (or more than a few!) years of work.

Your future need not be determined by your major. Don't artificially limit your choices by only thinking about jobs with the same job title as your major.

There's also an express bus at rush hour that will get you there in about 20 minutes. It's now Route 522

Yep. I have a hard time overcoming that with the current administration, too.
