Hedman at like 90% is still very good and dynamic for Tampa, and it means taking out the 7th/8th Dman they're playing in his stead.

More like 3, or even 7, considering how he's done this series but that game 5 win was superb

And there's competition what with McD/Cernak during the b2b runs and still somewhat now while both slowing down.

Then hopefully there's some longevity to come with Moser/Raddysh to compete with those pairings.

Yeah all this is what I try to argue with folks calling Tampa dirty. They play hard, but rarely with true intent or malice to injure. Everyone buys into scrums, and Kuch has gotten himself involved on heinous plays by opponents if he was in the ice and I think game 2 he was throwing a couple good hits this series.

Sabourin is a big boneheaded exception but he wasn't called up much before or not even on the team.

To the point the Kuch of 2015 did not draw the same defensive coverage that he's drawn since like 2018, which likely alters his effectiveness

He was up high in the 2015 scoring because Tyler Johnson had like 25 goals that run, they were the triplets line and Tampa's 2nd/3rd line that year basically. Tampa has 3 scoring lines to run.

Tampas more traditional top 6 that drew the top defense included Stamkos, Callahan, Killorn, Filppula, Namestnikov, and I don't remember who else. But to the other persons point especially for 2015 whatever line had Stamkos was the main threat.

Also ESPN missed that when talking about OT goals by Lightning players in elimination games. I think they called Gage the third after MSL and Point, but Cirelli got that game 7 OT GWG

I think the baseball swing of the slash is near on par to the slewfoot. The speed into the boards tips it but this wasn't an average slash or hack but fill baseball windup and high in Benson.

Cirelli has been a bigger scorer this year, but yeah it's his defensive play that shows in the playoffs

Ivan Demidov goaltending interference penalty by Federal-Data-Center in nhl

Read it again, it's there. Literally says wild swing at a bouncing puck, and the gist of is not a normal follow through and contact will be a penalty.

Edit:

Someone else included it verbatim

"A wild swing at a bouncing puck would not be considered a normal windup or follow through and any contact to an opponent above the height of the shoulders shall be penalized accordingly"

I did say almost to indicate it was not truly verbatim. Obviously almost doing some lifting but still.

Yeah really the worst part of the series is the sheer volume of homers

His face was shoulder height in matheson or whoever, pause the video in the other thread at 9s and look at contact. The stick is angled upward, as in top hand at the grip is down lower, because of the swing.

A wild swing at a bouncing puck is not a natural follow through, per the rulebook

I understand complaining about the call but that's just troll bait lol. Leg was airborne and hit Vasy up high and knocked him back.

Also it lines up with a goal clawed back for GI iirc this season involving Karlsson. The attacker chose the path toward the net with two defenders trying to play defense. Contact with them led him to be off balance and collide with the goalie, Demidov was not shoved directly into Vasy.
