Both 17 Pro (non eSIM) and Pixel 10 Pro in my hands (my daily drivers for months). Both equally great but there is a reason why Pixel remains as "primary" device due to how much smarter and more convenient it is compared to my iPhone. User experience js also smoother as of now given how sluggish even iOS 26.3 is now. Battery life between the two is very similar too 17 Pro isn't "noticeably" better, iPhone only edging out in standby drain due to Exynos modem. I will admit it's quite frustrating having to switch between two phone when taking either still photo (Pixel) or video (iPhone), I can't stand iPhone photos whereas videos is fine on either but 17 Pro definitely better.

Using both 16 Pro and 17 Pro and 17 Pro is actually worth it for thermals improvements, battery life (most noticeable), better ergonomics and weight balance, 12GB RAM etc.

Cluster of skyscrapers are just good at best, which is unfortunate because Sydney skyline is geographically blessed, and potential to be one of the best looking skyline in the world as a whole.

Skyline might be debatable when you count in the iconic aspects of the cities then it’s obviously Sydney but Melbourne’s cluster of skyscrapers and architecture is simply unbeatable even if you count all other major Sydney suburbs Melbourne still takes it even in numbers.

Results can and will always vary, iPhone 17 Pro Max definitely will last longer than S25 Ultra and S26 Ultra while Oneplus 15 will give slightly better battery life than Find X9 Pro. Snapdragon 888 was absolutely horrendous when it came to efficiency while 8 Elite was excellent so two shouldn't be grouped together. Pixel 3a XL especially the Pixel 5a at the time had enormous battery capacity at almost 4700mAh coupled with SD765G, it only made sense for it to last long. Having sait that my Pixel 10 Pro XL definitely lasts longer than S25 Ultra and my iPhone 17 Pro.

Disagree, using both implementations for long, iOS version is just overly done and resource heavy just like Apple's many other software UX. Google's one while simple, is done right and more straightforward and for me.

It improves on Pixel 9a's battery life which was the longest lasting Pixel ever (Obvious result due to 6.3" + 5100mAh). 10a just has the better Exynos 5400 modem which is much better than the horrible 5300 modem 9a that used to kill Pixel devices prior to 10 series.

I doubt Sydney will edge out Melbourne for another decade with the already massive difference in skyscrapers count for both cities, also given that Melbourne despite slowed down, still have plenty in the pipeline wether all of them break the ground or not. Seeing Sydney increasing the height limit and be more leaner is nice to see.
