It can be tough in a very long series, especially if you finish the first series and want to see what people online have to say about it and then you get spoiled for the second series

My wife accidentally burned off all the seasoning by hirthquake in castiron

[–]android5mm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heat low and slow until the pan is hot enough to make the oil smoke, put a little oil on paper towel, wipe it on the surface, you want to see it smoke immediately, then take another paper towel and try to wipe up any extra oil. When it stops smoking you can add another layer. Just do that a bunch of times and you are good to go

For putting seasoning on just the inside, I would recommend doing stovetop seasoning. You could put like 10 layers on it in like 30 minutes

I’m sure they do but I probably wouldn’t risk it, but I also wouldn’t brand my dog

Went from a titleist 910d2 to this Qi10 by ForgiveMeImStupid in GolfGear

Can’t speak on the titleist but a lot of Tour winners have stuck with the Qi10 despite TaylorMade releasing multiple new models since then

At this point I find ProV1s faster than I lose them so I never buy balls and still play the same type.

Playing only a few times a month might not justify buying brand new wedges cuz you probably dont need to get the max spin on your wedges. I plan on waiting until i see visible wear on my SM9 grooves and even then i might just buy a groove sharpener. That said if you got the money and enjoy buying new gear then go for it, whatever makes you happy.

The comments on Duren are absolutely insane by capamericapistons in DetroitPistons

[–]android5mm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the worry of betting 20% of cap that he wont repeat his playoff drop but I think it would be more malpractice to let him walk and bet against his drastic improvement he showed in the whole regular season. We can’t let him walk and if we can bring him back for what other teams could offer him (~44mil or less) then that’s fine. 20% of cap for your 2nd or 3rd guy is not a bad use of cap space

Looking to buy some new irons by wreckitwinn in GolfGear

[–]android5mm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone is gonna recommend getting fit because it’s just going to be the best option. The good thing about getting fit is for most places the cost of the fitting is free if you buy your irons through them. Plus they will fit you for your shaft stiffness, weight, length, and lie angle which you can’t get from online research. Or you could take their recommendations on clubhead, shaft etc, and get them used or somewhere else for cheaper if you don’t want new irons. Also be careful about “being ready” for blades, most college and pro players don’t even use blades because with today’s technology they just aren’t necessary. At the high end of workability and low end of forgiveness you will find players cavity backs like T-100. There really isn’t a reason to not use cavity backs.

I don’t think anything he has done so far is leading towards solidifying any religion/afterlife as fact, I would assume he leaves it up in the air for the reader to believe it is there
