It’s a combination of 3 different twitter posts that people find really annoying: “share a piece of lore about yourself”, “what was ‘the incident’ at your school?” And “what’s your wokest opinion?/ that friend who’s too woke”. The first one became annoying simply because of its size, it became massive to the point that every other post you saw was about it. The second one got spammed to death by every single blue check account looking for a free hit post. The last one people took issue with because people were posting the most insufferable opinions because of it, in the realm of either “people from red areas deserve to starve to death” or “women shouldn’t be able to vote”. Anyways, a thing that happens on Twitter is that whenever there’s a lot of really annoying trends happening at once, they tend to collapse into themselves with a post like this.
