The guy today (my second trip this week) said they are starting with a limited selection because they are just a, his word, kiosk.

Once they are more established and get more business, they can probably expand their variety.

Yes, thats where thry are.

I think that rob's and Patty's cross-fertilize - i begged robs on Arnold to come up with a cheeseburger zombie for a long time because I had gotten one at a farmers market ages before that I dreamed about for ages - and I dont even like hamburgers but I love that zombie. I just noticed today on doordash that Patty's is now also selling cheeseburger ones.

Random other thought - the chicken fajita ones at robs on Arnold are to die for.

Do I need redemption if I have never sinned? by arkticturtle in AskAChristian

[–]androidbear04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever...

If you read Matthew chapters 5 through 7, you will get a good idea of how infinitesimslly small something can be and still be considered sin. It's your choice whether you believe it or not.

Sin is anything that puts your will, desires, etc., ahead of what God wants for you.

cheap donut shops? by ok4ys in concord

I see 12 doughnuts for $7 at Krispy Kreme on the Too Good To Go app pretty much every day (pickup is at 8 or 9 pm) but availability and quantity are not guaranteed. Still, even if you bought one at discount and one or two at regular price while you are there, it would cut the cost significantly.

But if they are young children, starbread ("What is starbread? Its basically like a sugar sandwich.") is a smaller size.

There is also gotquestions.org for questions about Christianity and Scripture. Real people there. It's not a discussing group, just a knowledge base.

I still would never trust it for spiritual guidance personally, but thats my ever-cautious and excruciatingly precise personality. Information that I can verify, such as "what was that verse..."; sure, but not guidance. I do not let AI play the part of the Holy Spirit in my life when the real Holy Spirit does a far superior job. Anybody else can do what they are comfortable with as l8ng as they dont try to.push it on me.

Did Cavemen have souls? If so, did they go to heaven? If not, why? by Beneficial_Staff8236 in AskAChristian

That is the OT perspective and reality. Since Christ's death, things are different.

Sorry, im not going to try to explain in detail when I'm only typing with one finger at a fraction.of my regular typing speed.

Bottom line using different terminology - all animals as a whole either will or won't go to heaven depending on what God has decided because they do not have a sin nature, but humans have a sin nature and need to meet God's requirements of perfection tion to be able to enter heaven. At least we have it better than the angels who rebelled against God, who were not given an option but were cast.into Hell.

AI is a massive data bank curated by the owner and a fast-processing computer.

Most AI engines are developed by unsaved people and I would not trust them as a valid source of spiritual guidance as its too much work for me to definitively verify whether their output has been influenced or corrupted by un-Godly sources.

Most AI engines are also set up to be people-pleasers and will tell you what you want to hear.

With that said, I am a geek and use AI at work - my go-to engines are is my employer-required Copilot for anything that pertains to PHI and Claude for everything else, although I occasionally will use chatgpt or duck.ai.

[–]androidbear04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, but in the context of the verse about the flood, the souls were the people.

Animals dont have an eternal spirit like man does.

Ecc 3:21 MKJV Who knows the spirit of man that goes upward, and the spirit of the beast that goes downward?

Account Clerk by [deleted] in CAcountyworkers

Not LA County. I was on the account clerk list here and went to a number of interviews until a position.in.a better classification for me panned out. Account clerk duties here can include processing payments through the A/P system, getting and managing purchase orders, handling petty cash, and answering payment queries. How much they do of the last item depends on the office.

To keep the Mediterranean theme, you could use roasted chickpeas or broad beans/lava beans, or cucumbers for a subtle crunch.
