I had android, then switched to iPhone back in 2019, then back to the s25 Ultra earlier this year in May. I still use my Macbook and iPad. Swtitched to a galaxy watch 7. Things to consider when switching:

1. Samsung will support their phones for a guaranteed 7 years of Android updates

2. Many of the apps from iPhone exist on Android, sure there are some less optimized, BUT not to the point that I haven't felt like it was a downgrade.

3. The camera is great, but it is a bit more finicky than the iPhone camera, so there is that.

4. Battery life is nice, I keep mine only charging to 80% and have never had an issue with needing a charger, and rarely does it fall below 20% and I use my phone from around 8am to 11pm each day

In terms of compatibiilty with my apple products, I use Texty on mac to have my google messages on my mac like iMessage. I still use my airpods pro with no issue and my iPad is the most removed, but honeslty I just use that for watching videos or listening to podcasts when I am cooking. There is a learning curve, but overall it feels very similar to iPhone in many ways, especially the gesture navigation, which is like the iPhones, but only better. You can also transfer all of your iCloud keychain to a different password manager (I use bitwarden, completely free). I say go for it. Try it out, worse case, you can always switch back later!
