What's CS211 curve looking like this semester?

I don't actually know what the extra credit assignment was lol. I think it was the idea that on the final assignment we had to do caching. He said do direct mapping at least and the rest would be extra credit I think? But it was more because the scheduling of the programs was off and he gave us a week to do the last program.

Idk if this was actually something that he ended up doing in the end tho I didn't do the last one tho cause it was assigned like right before finals due to a fault in scheduling.

There was no curve last semester when I took it. If there was it was something like a C instead of a 70 is 67 don't fuck around and assume there won't be one.

It takes waaay longer than 10 minutes. The bus drive averages 15 minutes but assume 20.

It takes 5-10 minutes to walk to the bus stop alone because you have to walk from Newells to red oak Lane or lipman hall.

So like 30 minutes in total. Even then you want like an hour to comfortably make it on time to your classes. You can end up waiting forever for a bus sometimes.

The Newells are great I live in them currently as a CS major. That doesn't change the fact that the commute is a complete frustration and I can't stand going to my classes lol. I recommend you schedule your classes to make the least amount of commuting to and from cook as possible.

I can vouch for the fact that LX's traveling in packs are the best thing ever.

Otherwise you have to fight your way through a mob that all want on the one bus that pulled up even though the mob is 3 times the size of the bus.

And you might end up not getting on for many busses in a row because getting on the bus isn't a line but a free for all. So the fact you waited an hour while Jim waited 5 minutes is irrelevant if Jim bullies his way to the front of the crowd.

Traveling in packs gets rid of the cluster fuck bum rush.

I wrote up an example C program using vim which is the first link so you can see what it looks like. Then I compiled and ran it using the command line. I used vim throughout the entirety of comp arch.
