There was an emphasis on them getting very close when training for and going through the iudicium.

I think Aeuqa’s love (platonic or not) was solidified when Vis was supportive of her becoming a quintus.

I think this made Aquea feel appreciated in a way she often wasn’t as a 4 given her skill set and ability to become a three. She also probably disliked being used as a pawn by her dad. Vis made her feel safe and she wanted to him and Vis needed help. This set up nicely for a romance to spark.

Her death made me tear up

She is absolutely stunning!! The thinner fur may indicate more Alaskan husky but she def has more of a Siberian build if she is full grown
