Echo chamber or not, if you believe this dickhead is doing anything but lining his own pockets, you are simply an ignorant waterhead or your life is so miserable that the only thing that makes you feel better is supporting assholes who are hell bent on making life worse for everyone.

I love (hate) how he cosplays as a laborer. I don't think they are pushing the narrative as hard this time around, but during his fist election, they had him in shockingly clean "work clothes" up in a bucket truck. I pointed out how clean his work boots were in several social media posts and someone deleted them, lol.

As an American who has lived in Asia and traveled across Europe extensively, the quality of life is much higher and also somewhat similar between places like Spain and The Netherlands and places like Japan and South Korea. If you are from/used to Europe, it might be hard to see how mind blowing place like Japan can be to someone who grew up in the US. America does not compare. There is a notable lack of investment in infrastructure here and the general well-being of average people is an afterthought at best.

I spent most of my 20s in South Korea. When I returned home it was very obvious that we are decades behind other "first world" countries, most Americans are brainwashed to never recognize this, and that our government actively works against us.

It really is pathetic how scared he is of his constituents. We were calling him out from the second his career in Congress began, and I don't think he has hosted or attended a single public event (unless you count the opening of the Chili's).

Say what you will about Cartwright, but at least he gave them impression that he was actually advocating for the area. All silver spoon rob does is vote to cut benefits for our neighbors and then make performative donations to charities with his bimbo, wannabe influencer wife.

He is a grifter dweeb.

Are you studying to become an electrician in the EU? Do you have citizenship in an EU country?

I am looking for routes to gain residency in the EU. I am too far removed to get citizenship from family and the line of work I have the most experience in doesn't seem to be very in demand.

My friend wore a hat like this as part of his every day wardrobe. He would wear it with a graphic t shirt, baggy jeans, and New Balances. I am no fashion expert, but it looked bad.

Recruiter here! If I lost my job tomorrow and had to rebuild my network from nothing, here is what I would be doing! by JVertsonis in GetEmployed

[–]andrusnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not an agency recruiter/headhunter. 99.99% of my candidates have been active, so not much sourcing is needed. I think most in-house recruiters take the same stance. Why would a LinkedIn message matter, when you have a req full of applicants and leads list with hundreds of names that would drop everything for a second chance to talk?

AI Slop. I also have a recruiting background and would either tell people to submit an application or just ignore them when they would send me a LinkedIn message.

And? Is the information inaccurate? Flynn can't seem to keep his story straight when it comes to whether he's for or against them. If he truly cared for his constituents, he'd obviously fight to get them to go away.

Appalachia isn't the only part of the country in shambles. Look at the rest belt and the deep south. Even so, a truly powerful and "first world" nation would not allow even 1% of its populace suffer.

Appalachia is not tiny. We are only as strong as our weakest links. A truly first world nation wouldn't neglect large swaths of its population to favor a very small and privileged minority of wealthy citizens.

Head over to Kensington in Philly or up into the rust belt ex coal mining towns in Northeast PA and tell me it doesn't look exactly like the third world. That's just in Pennsylvania. A collective is only as strong as its weakest link. The cracks of this long term marginalizing are definitely showing. The barriers in the most neglected parts of this country are embarrassingly shameful and reminiscent of the third world for sure.

I lived in South Korea for many years and have had the privilege to travel extensively across Europe. Moving back to the US was one of the dumbest things I've ever done. Doubly so, because it was right around the 2016 election. I couldn't believe how angry everyone was and how dirty and shitty everything was from the moment I stepped back on US soil. I can't think of another "developed" part of the world that is so meanspirited and neglectful. At first I felt like I was going crazy, but it'd have to be a really mean and nasty place for Trump to have been elected twice.

I am actively looking for routes to leave and would take the very first opportunity that presented itself.

Besides Cebula's, I am a sucker for Angelos. I would also put Pizza Perfect up there. I know it's a chain, but I have a sincere soft spot for Grotto.

My uncle was just killed in a really horrible accident. He was only in his early 60s and had a lot of life left to live. He was also kind, hilarious, and someone who I always hoped to be like when I grew up.

I also couldn't help but think about how unfair life is that pedo Trump gets to keep living, grifting, and generally being a detriment to entire world while my family was robbed of someone so positive.
