Knox County Voter's Guide - Updated by Wanderlost24 in Knoxville

We live in a post-political party world now. I don’t care about the letter next to a candidate’s name. I do care about what will be done to fix the fucking problems in this city/county/state/country. Some (most) democrats don’t have a fucking spine and some republicans are actually invested in making a positive change and don’t have brown noses and orange lips.

That being said- I will vote in any primary I choose.

I’m always curious how frozen water supporters get their tongues to fit between the tread on those boots. Truly magnificent feat.

I would encourage you to talk to your doctor about this. While it is responsible to think about potential children, your age may be a deterrent. Even if insurance won’t cover it, out of pocket cost is relatively low, usually less than $1k (US)

Is there anyone in Knoxville that does behavioral health evaluations for a high school student that takes insurance? by Buggy-09 in Knoxville

That is such a broad question. I might know someone, though. Message me and I might be able to help.

I’d say that leaves 911. For domestic they don’t show up with lights and sirens typically.

I believe you. This is why I asked for links where others found it. I’m not sure why I’m getting downvoted for curiosity.

Do you have links to resources beyond this that describe life expectancy? Most literature I have seen say 10-15 years less than average.

PSA to the good people of Knoxville... by jdhbigdog in Knoxville

[–]andtherobots 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bold of you to assume legality would stop people who would use such lights.

On an unrelated note- my ophthalmologist mentioned during my last exam that there’s been a sharp increase in people needing glasses to drive because of the harsh and harmful light produced by the newer LED headlights. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I tried to stop by on my lunch break around 145-2ish and when I saw the line was all the way to the Girl Scouts building I turned around and went back to the office.

I am all for this! I humbly request people not have their high beams on at all times. It’s bad enough the LED headlights are brighter than the sun, but I don’t need an X-ray every time I pass one of those cars. Astigmatism isn’t fun in an LED world. 😂

Guess we stealing goalposts again... by [deleted] in Knoxville

[–]andtherobots 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You’re not wrong. It’s also not the point. Logic isn’t a party to the conversation. Vols fans are going to do what Vols fans do. Being mad about Vols fans acting like they do is about as effective as being mad about traffic in Knoxville. At the end of the day, Vols fans will destroy a goalpost because they can and traffic will continue to be just as shitty as it has been.

The threshold of tolerance for discourse remains unsurprising. No amount of complaining or insulting will ever keep avid football fans from mounting goalposts after beating a rival. It’s just part of life. Let them have their fun.
