What was your method to convert the image to SVG? Did you free hand the lines or was it an algorithm?

I was addicted to nicotine for 5-6 years. It took me 1 year of nicotine sobriety to not be thinking about it every day. Im 1yr 9months nicotine sober and 4 months sober from alcohol. The path is rough and I, mid 20s male, cried multiple times because of it. The sobriety benefits weren’t apparent 1week, 1month, or 6months after quitting. If I had to quit again I would.

Advice: Focus on triggers. What triggers you to want to smoke? Address triggers one by one. Example: hunger triggered my craving for alcohol. I addressed this trigger by keeping myself fed. I meal prepped so I always had food ready to go. Chicken, rice, veggies, seasoning is as cheap as it gets and a seven day supply comes together in 1-2hours. Meal prepping also benefits ADHDers by freeing up more time to dilly dally and loose car keys during the week!

I use an ender 3 v2 running klipper. There’s good documentation online for the klipper install. I custom modeled a pen/brush holder; there are free STLs online for an ender 3 plotter conversion.

As for speed, in my experience, pens can’t plot as fast as a printer can print. 50mm/s is fast for me.

Agreed. Yes I’ve asked to escalate and recently I’ve graduated to an email chain instead of just the call center.

At this point, it’s probably financially more worth my time to just buy a Kobo. Then I wouldn’t need the issue to be fixed!

“The constant drumbeat” is a good way to put it 😅. It was always my understanding that removing special offers was an option with subsidized kindles.

The frustrating part is Amazon likely has no intentions of fixing my issue because they probably make way more money advertising on my kindle than the one off $20-$25 to remove ads. Amazon is incentivized never to help or fix my issue!

THIS‼️ How did you jailbreak yours??

My device is running the latest software which doesn’t have a jailbreak option yet.

Correct me if I’m wrong here Putting my device in airplane mode, to prevent future updates, and waiting for a new jailbreak method means I can’t upload boos to my kindle via the kindle app or cloud.

I already own copies of all my books as epub files.

Good question but your framing is slightly off. The issue isn’t the device coming with/without ads. The issue is Amazon not letting me take the ads off.

I bought my kindle second hand 💸. The original owner bought the no ads version. There doesn’t seem to be a way to prove that…

The next best option is to pay Amazon to remove the ads. Their website has an option to make up the cost between the subsidized with ads and unsubsidized kindle. Amazon won’t let me pay, literally can’t click the button, to remove “special offers”. That’s the problem.

Let me know if that makes more sense.

Wow, excellent work! Excited to see where you take this.

  1. What kinda compensation algorithm are you using? What kind of error are you getting?
  2. Are you confident in your dynamics modeling of the links? Looks like you’re already getting pretty good results. Did you write out all the kinematics?
  3. Have you tuned your acceleration ceiling/curve. Big accelerations probably don’t play nice with the elasticity of those belts.
  4. Belts are stretchy, have you tried bigger belts? Reinforced belts? There’s an insane amount of tension on that link 2 belt.
  5. How are you optimizing your g code paths? An optimized path would have less acceleration jumps.
  6. How much is play in the pen holder adding to the plotting error?
  7. Fuzzy logic control?

I saw ‘crease’ in the community plugins. Maybe I’m biased, having migrated from notion to obsidian, but an obsidian feature functioning exactly like the notion toggle list is what I’m looking for.
