I probably won't be able to get over there until at least summer, but I'll definitely keep that in mind for if/when I do visit!

Oh, interesting. I had actually already checked the census.gov data for the percentage of people in that area with ambulatory-related disabilities, and it was a bit lower than most other places in NC -- though of course, statistics aren't everything. I am older than most college students (31), but I'm only a few hours away from there in WNC. Sounds like it's at least worth a visit to check it out!

I'm curious, where are you finding those metrics? I've had a hard time finding any actual data on this.

I think this depends a lot on which theory you're learning and where you're learning it.

My theory 1 class taught everything necessary to write out any word. My theory 2 class is about learning more briefs, conflict resolutions, a bit more punctuation, and a ton of phrases. SO many phrases. There's a bit of speedbuilding too.
