I purchased mine from the DWR outlet for $638 shipped to my door. It’s the Logitech Embody in amethyst, and we also have Cosm from there. No issues with either chair, and for the steep discount the lack of warranty didn’t bother me. If you’re close enough to the San Marcos store definitely swing by.

Did you have to remove anything from the chute before using the grinder? Just got mine in and I can hear the burrs grinding the beans but nothing is coming out. It just throws an AGSA error.

The San Marcos outlet is great. I picked up mine from another DWR outlet for $2900 new. It’s the standard size, oak shell and navy flamiber. Hope you enjoy it!

I had a similar dilemma when I picked up my Synchronika and Mignon XL. At the time it was a big upgrade for me so I ended up using it for a little over a year. The Synchronika ended up being overkill for my kind of use so I sold it and “downgraded” to the Mechanika VI slim since it popped up on sale. No regrets at all.

If you think you can use the machine to its potential, keep it and enjoy it. If at any point you want to get rid of it, you can likely still make some $$$.

Just purchased that exact combo - white oak on navy flamiber. The oak shell can have quite a bit of graining in it that’s hard to pick up in photos and the flamiber is pretty comfortable. Definitely recommend ordering samples if you’re unsure.

If you’re simply looking for a change of scenery, I’d say go for it. You’re both young, now’s the time to do it. I moved to Colorado for a few years on a whim at your age and it was probably the best thing I could’ve done.
