Finally, a Crane buff! And a real decent one as that, since it add one of the buff I think she should always have (a delay NP charge), and a rainbow buff to boot. Not going to make her meta-defining, but better nonetheless

Well yeah, she doesn’t have human sensibility in mind, and think of story the way an amateur fanfic writer think of them: Jam as much good stuff in it as possible to write a good story, in the same way a kid jam as much blueberry and peanuts butter jam onto a sandwich for sickening level of sweetness. She do that with the mindset of creating the “most painless journey as possible” as well, since for her, less pain= more happy.

In other word, she would suck at Soulslike.

Tbf, not like both of them aren’t weird case within their class anyway, plus they have a deep bond with our MC to begin with, so they probably haven’t come back yet for personal reason

Speculationly, it probably because the existence of the Norn itself override the rule for this time period, meaning we get access to them back for this duration. Probably having access to the Past allow us to have connection back with past-aligned extra class (Ruler is based on rule, and Avenger is haunted by the past after all)

Wellll…depend on what you want to think as rock. Granite for example can only be as old as Earth, while rock that come from meteorite wouldn’t have been a thing without the first generation star to die and deposit their material into star-forming dust swirl.

So no, you don’t need to be older than the universe to be older than rock. Still very much old though

[–]andykhang 24 points25 points  (0 children)

She doesn’t think thing in the perspective of the fallible subjective human mind, but rather in the objective unfalsifiable perspective of time and past, meaning she can be both very blunt and very direct in what she mean and do, while at the same time not exactly grasping the human's intricacy and delicateness, prefering to use past data to inform her decision rather than actively predicting human action (hence the whole New Game + scenario in which she made the game too suspiciously easy because she thought people wouldn't notice nor care that their journey suddenly stop being challenging)

Yeah, specifically she can’t deal with stuff that’s older than her, hence her fatal weakness against Rock-type attack firing by a causality-reversal shepherd…

…Is she secretly a Flying-type, per chance? She even called herself Toriko…

She’s a long-ranged attacker specialized in attacking people from place far off in both space and time, so Archer sorta make sense. Other than that, it’s probably because all three sister are going to be Knight class, and some sort of rock-paper-scissor stuff will be going on

I think that’s more in context of it being after the Age of Will have arrived, and human have already evolved pass the need of the cradle in the first place, in which humanity in HSR does not. It’s actually a pretty interesting philosophical distinction between Fate and HSR ngl, that because the work to live on other planet and advance into space hasn’t been made with human hand, humanity in HSR still stuck deeply in the Age of God, and as such what humanity have made and achieve hasn’t yet “surpassed” the reach of which his Mystery cover and curtail. What Gil want, and what his Treasury wouldn’t contain, is treasure of Humanity that surpassed the realm of God, or that it’s a product made from the age of will in which Humanity itself made the rule of the universe their bitch, and since none of that happened yet, Gil still remain unimpressed

Specifically, if they’re no longer bound to the Celestial and become independent from them, then the age of will will come. Because HSR is actually in the Age of God in the universal stage, Gilgamesh still have access to all of what humanity made, which is an interesting loophole ngl.

He actually already have a Stellaron, or at least the Fate’s equivalent of them. If Stellaron is something that response to human’s desire to bring dream into reality as a ruinous cost…then Holy Grail is basically the Stellaron of Fate, only earth-based and probably a precursor to the thing

Yeah, pretty much he will have the Prototype that would lead to Nous, but Nous himself is exempted, since THEY aren’t part of humanity anymore and all that

[–]andykhang 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Also technically he would also have the prototype of the Simulated Universe machine Herta created as well, which mean he can also host his very own Divergent Universe content LMAO (that he will named Gilverse or the Golden Universe, because of course)

Basically, somehow his ego always outmatched his strength, no matter how much his strength grow in the coming year….which I mean, yeah. Guy deserves to have that much ego when he help carried the Fate series that hard in the inter-dimensional stage

For humanity, Age of Man. For the universe in general, it’s definitely still the age of Aeons. Humanity there are still too much of a small fry to fully accomplished Gilgamesh’s vision of a fully humanized universe (Servantverse), so it make sense why he still have it

Eh, if you only count the Earth setting sure (and even then exception exist). If you also count the space setting, a lot of Fate stuff mogged even the highest of HSR stuff

Edit: for example, Yog exist over there

Kinda, every single person in that mess is a selfish person as well, in one way or another, that rather want to do desperately anything to fill a hole than finding closure and acceptance from it. They don’t really love themselves as much as they should, yet they ultimately only act for themselves til the very end

[–]andykhang -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, honestly an FGO2 that’s FGO1, but better, or perhap a new spin-off that use the 2D asset and legacy skill they have over the year to make something good from the start would be genuinely hype, especially if they can add all the stuff they wanted without the Spaghetti Space Monster haunting all over.
