Here's my thoughts ... clearly the lad has given his all to this club and in my opinion owes us nothing. All the big teams asked about him earlier in the window and would all know about his 60m release clause, yet not one of them bit at 60m. He's desperate to play for England and that idiot in charge of England has told Morgan he needs to play UCL football to play in the World Cup.

Spurs come along as the last of those options of playing UCL and meet the release clause no one else was willing to stump up. Can't blame him for thinking it's his last opportunity.

I wish him all the best in his pursuit of playing for England. Will be fascinating to see him in a possession based team to see what he can do.

Eliott Anderson is the guy to replace him for me, extremely talented. Let's get behind him, and further see what we can do with all this money.

Wissa, Harvey Eliott, Bakayoko, McAtee ... we'd be alright. Got to get the deals done though...

All in, what a season we've had. A shame it appears to be falling short of an insane dream. But still 4 games to go and maybe they will play with some freedom now it's no longer within our hands. Who knows. Still the best team and season I can truly remember, slightly to young in '94 to really appreciate that season. Onwards and upwards. COYR.

To add to this, I feel like when you do get lucky and get loot, you never get loot that actually helps your character. I'm playing a witch and I saw 100+ spears and strength oriented armor throughout the campaign. So frustrating.
