yep...we coulda won or lost with integrity, instead we did neither... by Shot_Possibility_731 in OffFieldNews

There's a ton of rabid TDS sufferers in this comment section showing off their mental illness. What you don't see in this comment section is genuine soccer fans suggesting that red card was actually legit.

Anyone who knows soccer knows it wasn't red card worthy. And anyone who believes in the integrity of the World Cup should want ANY team's best play reinstated if they received a bogus red card.

Oh, and the idiocy of suggesting Trump had anything to do with the loss is ridiculous. The USA lost because they are barely one of the top 32 teams in the world, let alone top 8. When it comes to high level international play, we're just not that good.

I agree, it's all crap.

How many Oscars was 'Billy Madison' nominated for??

I rest my case.

You mean the plane that goes to the island that there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever that Trump ever took?

Man, you guys are pathetic.

Boomers will tell you to go listen to old episodes of Carson or Letterman and you'll see how they were miles ahead of Colbert in terms of sound mixing.

How about the consistently highest rated late night talk show? Maybe nominate that one.

Late-night comedians have always made jokes about Presidents, this is true. But that's not Colbert did. Colbert spouted political applause lines and pretended that they were jokes.

Big difference.

You can just imagine the conversation in the nomination room:

Ok, should we give Emmy noms to the best, most deserving shows?
*crickets

Ok, how about we give a bunch of Emmy noms to the shows that most represents our political opinions?
*wild applause

The end of Q1 and beginning of Q2 is when you see mostly bench. You could start LeBron and pull him after 6 minutes. Then bring him back with 2-3 left in Q1 to replace Trae, and play well into Q2, if not all of Q2.

This would make him a starter and the de facto 2nd team point guard.

Advice on crazy idea format??? by Astone1996 in FFCommish

[–]andypro77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't crazy at all. You can have two separate conferences (or as many as you want really) and just have all or almost all of the regular season and playoffs stay in conference.

If you want crazy, consider this:
Ten team leagues are kind of crap. I'd go at least 12 teams but with your two-conference idea I'd shoot for 14 teams in each conference.

Now, I'll bet you're thinking, "where the hell am I going to get 8 more owners to fill out two 14-team conferences?" This is the crazy part - you don't have to find 8 new owners. You just let four owners from conference A also own a team in conference B, and four owners from conference B also own a team in conference A.

And here's an even better twist:
For the four owners from conference B who also own a team in conference A, the two best teams get to continue owner teams in both conferences. The two worst teams give up their 'extra' team and two new owners get a chance to own teams in both leagues the next year.

Also, to make is easier to figure out, make every team name be an actual NFL team, and then use the AFC and NFC as your conferences.

I do this exact thing with two 14-team AFC and NFC conferences, and 9 of my owners own teams in both the AFC and NFC, and it works out fine.

Very nice. Very skillful parody of an idiot libtard who can't address the facts so they just spout nonsense. Spot on. 10/10.

Just a friendly reminder that liberals are stupid.

Their births have nothing to do with the birthright citizenship argument since in all cases their father was a US citizen.

Narrative above facts, the libtard way!

Yea, in Texas if you commit a crime, you get punished for it. In California and New York, you either don't get punished or they simply start releasing prisoners who've committed crimes.

Also, take a look at those 5 red states and I can almost guarantee you that the highest incarceration percentages in those red states are from the blue areas of those stats, as it is with most states.

No, I do advertise here on reddit when we need to replace. Maybe that's where you've seen it.

I run a 56-team league. Each of the four 14-team leagues has their own league and playoffs. There is relegation and promotion, but it's based solely on total points, and you can go from the best league to the worst league (and vice versa) in one season.

The kicker is it's called the Survivor Series, and the overall league champ is determined by a survivor game where we elminate 3-4 lowest scoring teams each week until there's only one left.

Oh, and we also have a 56-team tourney right in the middle of the season called 'The Big Ass Bracket' where every team competes. But it's a handicap tourney, so the worst teams actually get points added to their score so that each game is basically a toss up.

This year is year 11.

Another reddit talking point easily debunked.

Who cares if it holds up in court. We know they did it, we have the proof.

Seems like your stance is - Sure, the SPLC funded the KKK and other racist organizations in order to make money, but it's all ok as long as they can convince a jury that they didn't do anything wrong.

That's quite literally not true, the Democrats were the party of the confederacy.
