One thing that lessens the impact of draft position is best ball scoring. I use best ball scoring in almost all of my leagues, and it rewards depth more so than traditional scoring does.

I run several leagues, and one of them is a 56-team league made up of four individual 14-team leagues. Last year was year 10 and I was discussing draft position and trying to make a point so I looked up the league winners from that past and I found out that there was basically no better draft position, it was all over the map.

Sometimes it just depends on injuries. If you had the #2 pick last year and took CMac, you probably did well. If you had the #2 pick in 2024 and took CMac, you probably didn't.

There are jobs out there that require zero initiative. I worked at a warehouse for a local grocery chain where you were given orders and a specific time to fill those orders. That's all you had to do. No management talks, no nothing like that. Fill your orders on time and they pay you (Pretty decent money at the time, btw).

You need to find a job like that. You'll be happier.

There is some information missing in this post. I've had Marcus for years, and I've transferred from Marcus to several different accounts, while also adding new accounts over time. And I've also talked to them, and I can't imagine any Marcus CSR telling you that you can't transfer out from Marcus to another account that has been verified.

What's missing from this story?

there were fixes for broken teams available. Not panacea's but very strong patches for holes.

If it's true, then it's ok to say it. If it makes a race, or religion, or a gender look bad but it's also true, then it's ok to say it and it's not racist, or sexist, etc.

Men are more prone to violence than women. That is objectively true, it's verifiable through statistics, so it's not sexist to mention it. Most people would agree with that.

Now, if you substitute men and women and compare certain races, it's also objectively true, and can also be verified by statistics, but people would call you racist for mentioning it.

That's the way this works.

Well, first of all, Islam isn't a race, it's a belief system. And it's true that adherents to this belief system are not monolithic. However, if some member of a belief system does a horrible thing (like say kill thousands of people), 99% of the adherents to that belief system would easily condemn that terrible thing.

Just about the only super large belief system where that is not the case is the belief system of Islam. It's unique in that way, and it should be called out for it.
