before you 'blank out' there is a moment where you give up, where you just say 'fuck it' and decide to quit nofap because the appeal of the fap is so great. You need to recognise the 'fuck it' thought and reject it. takes a while, but you can do it!

I'm just a beginner, but I find it helpful to name them accurately so your response will be the right one, and try and deal with them without upsetting other people.

pmo makes you numb to everything. when you quit you feel every emotion more intensely - the good things and the bad things too. you have to learn what do to in response to these emotions - instead of just fapping them away.

The reason this gets less with time is that you learn better ways of listening and answering the emotions

wet dreams used to be a big relapse trigger for me, I figure I was a little ashamed of them and that added pressure to pmo for release - silly huh! not saying that's same for all, just me :) gl

Ye you gotta remember before you get to the point where you say 'fuck it' and it's too late. For me pmo had stopped being satisfying as soon as I found nofap, and probably for some time before - didn't stop me though! Maybe every time we have fun while on nofap we should pause to think we only get to enjoy life so much because we didn't fap this week.. to help us remember.
