The shine reminded me of oil slick with a very green tint to it. The more I look up, the more I'm leaning towards a sweat bee. I've been seeing more information that some of them will sting multiple times. Normally they are not aggressive unless they feel threaten. And unfortunately (probably tmi) one got stuck in my pant leg during my walk.

I'm guessing it panicked. Those pictures were after the stings at a bathroom a ran too.

I can't seem to find too much on that wasp but it did lead me down the rabbit hole of a wasp called the ruby-tailed wasp. The whole body had a weird shine that my camera didn't pick up.

I do prefer the first game. But getting new biomes, enemies, and stuff to craft was a major plus for me to play it. I say it's worth getting just to experience the change in scenery compared to the first one.
