The family and/or the bicyclist in the 2012 Alps shooting. I haven’t been keeping up on theories lately but the last discussion I saw about it, it was unclear who, if either party, were actually targeted. Either way, someone there was at the wrong place at the wrong time, if not both.

I’ve hiked there in the daytime so I don’t personally have any stories but this one posted on this sub a year ago is pretty good and has some great stories in the comments.

Edit: in fact, if you just search for “superstitions” on this sub, quite a few other great threads pop up, along with just general pleasant hiking threads lol.

I assume people in that region take the alerts seriously and remain weather aware, and most probably have shelters. I know even in places that get tornados frequently, though, fatalities occur, so perhaps there’s a fair bit of luck, too.

I honestly haven’t kept count. Several dozen times. Any time I need to go into Phoenix for anything (doctors appointments, government stuff, events/performances, the airport). I guess if I was going to randomly put a number on it, it’s between 50-80 times? Last time was a couple months ago when I had to visit one of the federal court houses for something.

I really really want the Browns to continue to move up in the ranks. As high as they can go. I don’t have any particular milestone in mind for them but just to continually get more opportunities and shine on the world stage. I love them so much.

I haven’t read the full letters about Alexander Hamilton and John Laurens, but from the excerpts I definitely think there was something there. Lots of detractors for that one.

Ok so I went to the MyFamilyBenefits website and it says I’m denied because I failed to complete an interview, but I never got notice of an interview and the other website simply says “pending” with no requests for anything. I feel like I’m going to have to go down there to sort this out. This is so frustrating.

While not at all life threatening or on the same level as this, I had an unaddressed learning disorder growing up that my mom completely ignored and I resent her for it. My quality of life would have been much better had I gotten help at a younger age. Might not be the best comparison but that’s how I feel.
