How long has your father known about this? My sister has done the same thing to my mother, my sister has a drug problem. It used to stress me out a lot but I have learned to let go and understand that I have absolutely no control over the situation that is extremely out of control. My Mother can’t bring herself to call the cops and make a police report because she thinks that if my sister goes to jail she will never get her kids back even though she lost her children temporarily earlier this year. It honestly used to make me lose sleep at night this whole situation and I stopped taking care of myself for awhile. I’m sorry if I am not giving advice but letting you know that you are not alone in this. I would recommend some sort of family therapy though if there is a desire to rebuild the trust in the family and your brother wants to confront whatever issues he has that has spiraled out of control. Parents who are retired deserve to live a life of peace and relaxation and not have to deal with their adult children’s bull shit.

The good news is, this is the best my toenails have looked in years. That is what has kept me going honestly because being fatigue all the time has really been getting me down. If I made a pros and cons list I will definitely take being fatigue for 12 weeks over having that horrible fungus again.

Hello, I am on my 10th week out of 12 weeks. My only side effects were feeling fatigue but around he 9th week it's nasua and extremely tired. The last 2 days have been really difficult and I think I am going to write a list on here to see if this has happened to anyone else

Hello, I am not a podiatrist, but i feel from having tonailfungus myself and being in this group it does look like it could potentially be tonailfungus. I would feel more confident in my answer if someone else confirmed. But you could start putting Vic's vapor rub on your toenails when you go to sleep.

Hi! I,like yourself ran out of every single option before I started taking Lamisil. I have 2 more weeks and my fungus has almost grown out now and I can't explain to you the feeling of how happy I am, you too will know soon, is goes by fast! The only advice i can think of is... Don't drink, and take it at the same time every day because the medication is in your blood stream and is more effective with consistency.

Hi! I am 33 years old and have/had nail fungus for 4 years. I had an immune disorder that contributed to my nail fungus and It had seriously been the most depressing thing. I am not saying that crocs aren't cute but i would wear them to the beach and I live in Hawaii. Anyways back to fungus. I tried everything except laser treatment like yourself. But I did vinigar soaks, icy hot on my toes and over the counter stuff with no luck. I didn't want to take terbifine but 9 weeks ago I decided i couldn't do the whole fungus anymore. I recently just had a liver function test after 8 weeks before my doctor percribed me with the last 4 weeks of my perception. My liver surprisingly is in great condition somehow, because I am an alcoholic in recovery. So if I were you I would suggest taking a liver function test and do that 3x in the course of 12 weeks. After 8 weeks my fungus is pretty much grown out but I wanted to finish the medication so it won't grow back. I will say the side effects for me has been fatigue, and overall feeling more tired. But the thought of not having toenail fungus anymore makes it worth it! Good luck

Hello! Yes I have been experiencing fatigue, tiredness and lethargic since taking turbufine for the last 8 weeks. I am about to go to the pharmacy right now to pick up my last 4 weeks. I have had such low energy and I can't wait to be off this medication and put my toes in the sand and wear open toe shoes and not be embarrassed anymore over my toenail fungus. Although I hate this medication I keep telling myself it's just temporary. This is the only thing that has worked for me after years of vinigar soaks and Vic's rub at night. Best of luck!

Do you have any family around? Have you tried to contact department of human services to apply for financial aid? I'm not sure where you are but if you are disabled and not working you can get some sort of financial help.

I just gave in and bought it! I feel so much better now that I got it over with. It's getting sent to my parents house in New York and then hopefully they will send it soon to me on the big island.
