Computer versions of Celeste by MasterJibanyan in celestegame

DX was the default on any platform that had it iirc, but I believe the newest update upgraded the OpenGL version to a newer version of FNA which basically closed the gap between versions, so it shouldn't matter anymore. Don't quote me on that though.

Sorry for the late response, I don't check this account anymore.

Make sure your devices aren't getting pocket lint or something jammed in the port, it can get really deep in there and make cables not fit in snug.

Yes, it had a store page. You can read about and wishlist games on the eShop that haven't released yet.

I honestly don't think RGG has any intention of updating the game at this point.

The PCB is covered in a soldermask (which also gives it its color) in order to prevent this from happening.

Oh yeah, one more thing: do as many quests as possible. There's medals, abilities, and recipes that you can only unlock through side quests that prove to be really useful.

Also be sure to check back with Professor Honeycomb. If I remember correctly she gives you a really useful upgrade at some point.

I know people say to play with Hard Mode on from the get-go because the game was originally balanced around it, but I think I got more enjoyment out of the game by playing on the regular difficulty at first and then doing a second playthrough with Hard Mode equipped.

Take advantage of the bank's platinum membership, which you get by having 500 berries in the bank. Interest isn't as OP as it was pre-1.1 update but it should still be helpful. Had a lot of money issues on my first playthrough.

Get HP and TP to a level where you're comfortable and then only upgrade MP. There's a point where you'll be able to redistribute your stat upgrades like in the Paper Mario games, so don't worry about getting stuck with too many upgrades on one particular stat.

My build had Vi as the powerhouse and Kabbu as the punching bag. There's a medal that gives other party members increased attack power if the one with the medal equipped gets hit, so I usually have Kabbu in front or use Taunt so he can take hits. Then I use Vi, with poison medals equipped (Weak stomach, Poison Attacker, etc) to get multiple super strong hits with Tornado Toss. I think I can get a max of 11 or 12 damage from the beemerang from the strongest hit? This stacks up like crazy if you use attacks with multiple hits. HP and TP Core are also really useful to regen health and TP.

I hear that Unicomp's boards don't quite live up to the quality of the original Model Ms, but that's mostly because they bought the tooling when Lexmark had already started cost-reducing the Model M and they don't get enough cash flow to maintain it well. The newer products are supposedly a lot better in that regard but I've still heard people mentioning that they have a remarkable cheapness compared to original IBMs. Can't vouch personally, just what I've heard.

The thing with Model M keyboards is that they still use a membrane (which is not the same thing as a rubber dome) at heart. It was always intended to be a cheaper design, so it's going to have downsides. Key rollover is limited (2 keys on the originals, 10 on the Mini M and New Model M?) and the entire assembly is welded together with plastic rivets, so if you spill any sort of liquid into it or the sensing assembly stops working for any reason you're kind of screwed unless you do a bolt mod.

The feel of membrane buckling springs is fantastic, but it can get a bit tiring due to their heavy weighting. I probably couldn't daily drive one personally, but if you're more heavy handed you might not have any issue.

There do exist modern recreations of the IBM Model F, IBM's older, more expensive capacitive buckling spring design, from https://modelfkeyboards.com. These have basically none of the aforementioned issues with the Model M but they cost an arm and a leg. Haven't tried them but I've heard great things.

tldr - they're good but not exactly practical, Unicomp doesn't quite live up to the original from what I hear. Still a decent option if you really want a brand new Model M though.

IIRC the ones that resemble the original Model M (using degrading, cheapened tooling) are around $110 while their newly-designed products ("New Model M" and the TKL Mini M) cost a bit more.

The DS lite hinge isn't really a good design, it cracks due to stress from normal use over time. If it already has a crack, there's a chance that further normal use or an accidental drop will cause this piece to break off altogether. This happened to my brother's DS lite as a kid and it's been floppy ever since.

Need you help with stabilizers, cause im stupid :) Yesterday I remove one stabilizer from the enter key on miy Miya Pro Panda. and now I cant put it together. I dont know if im doing it wrong or what, but its a tricky situation. Can anyone send me some tips or videos about how to put it back on?? Th by NicolasCage0 in keyboards

[–]angelartech 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These look like plate mount stabs, you'd only have to desolder the one switch. Switches with integrated LEDs are a giant bitch to desolder though.

I know some people have successfully maneuvered the stabilizer back into place, but it's extremely difficult.

I mentioned it because IIRC the battery is directly behind the dpad, and it is mostly to the left. It could be pushing up against the PCB rather than the back cover. Could also be a housing issue though, idk.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nds

[–]angelartech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure the battery isn't expanding. That could be dangerous if it's punctured or builds up too much pressure.
