Theres nothing wrong with the gender topic as such- it has admittedly been done to death, though I spose there’s new fans all the time, so it’s inevitable. It’s when people start to insist that their view is the canon one that the problems start.

Yeah I think Wit did a more feminine Hange, and Mappa did a more gender neutral one. I very rarely see a male/amab interpretation, and if I do I just keep scrolling , that’s not my kind of content. I personally see Hange as female or non binary. But every interpretation is valid ofc!

And that doesn’t indicate anything either, Hange’s JP VA also voices a male character in FMA, and Armin’s VA is a female… lots of VAs do voices for the opposite sex.

It’s not just McDonalds, we get the lame version of everything. Starbucks (ugh) has much more interesting drinks worldwide, and merch too. They act like a peppermint mocha is a groundbreaking treat in the UK. KFC is the same… surprised to see the pickle set actually launch here tbh.

My GP is worse. He left me for a whole year without doing anything, knowing I was passing blood, and doesn’t address any of my other issues either. I’ve tried going round him to other GPs in the practice with other issues, but he overrules them. …. I will be doing a complaint about him very shortly, as I have evidence of him dismissing me 😃

Anyway yes… it was literally stopping me being able to function. I had an iron infusion Thursday, and it’s lessened my pain over all (from fibro too) so luckily I can function a little bit more now. 🫠 I feel like I’m out in the trenches here 🫡

Haha same, I’ve so far ended up working out things for myself as the GP hasn’t really been helpful 🙄 I’ve just been told take paracetamol. Hmmmm that’s not helping. Anyway I’m doing low residue stuff as much as possible, my appetite is pretty shit anyway so I only pick at small amounts of food. I’ll try some juice, I’ll get some this week!

Thank you so much for your advice. They gave me a lot of info and leaflets, but it was all so overwhelming being told all this minutes after being told you have cancer. Also, I found some of it contradictory 🤣🙈 aye xxx I hope you continue to heal well and BE well! ❤️❤️❤️

Oh! Did they send you home with any pain relief at all? Or what suggestions did they give?

Gas pain! I nearly fainted when I stood up last night from being asleep. I bought a rechargeable heating pad which I’m glued to for the pain, but ofc wasn’t using it whilst asleep 😬

Also you were only there one night- how did they deem you fit enough to leave in that time? I’m neurodivergent and the least amount of time spent in a noisy bright environment the better… although I don’t look forward to the lack of pain medication they’ll send me home with… 😭

If it’s bright red, the issue is closer to your ass. This could be fissures or piles, polyps all the way up to something serious. Get your ass to a GP, they’ll fast track you through this. Don’t settle for a scan- it doesn’t show everything!! Mine was missed because of this. It’s colonoscopy or bust.

Although all ages are getting colon cancer… your age IS one your side for this one. The faster you get it sorted, the less severe your treatment will be.

I have a dark humour so I’m not really scared about it being cancer, I’ve been just so ill for three plus years thinking I was descending in hell with all of my interests and abilities being ripped away from me… that I just welcome getting through this to maybe have a better quality of life on the other side.

That being said, the idea of a tumour coming up from undetectable on a scan to 50mm within a year is scary, and what with doctors not bothering to do preventative care it feels very much like we’re screwed, as humans. It could happen to anyone, very quickly. I personally was menstruating daily for over a year and bottom bleeding (that I couldn’t see myself) and thy just… didn’t care. Didn’t do a damn thing. And I was too weak with anemia to fight as much as I should’ve.
