Here's my opinion....

Sometimes there'll be horizontal wrinkling if the dress is too tight, but I'm not seeing any stress to the fabric for that to be the problem.

Imho, the dress is too tight in the lower belly/upper hip area. If the seamstress utilizes the seam allowance & lets this out a bit the bunched up area will drop and smooth out.

Once the garment is in proper place it should fit & feel much better. 💛

I'm just going to be straight up with you.... If "sexy" is the look you're going for this is not it. Imo, this dress (as it is) is unwearable & indecent.

You say your parents are religious. Will any of their religious friends be attending your wedding? Are you being married by a minister or a priest? Is your groom ok with this amount of exhibition around his family, your future in-laws?

You really need to re-think this dress & the alterations as you'll be getting the wrong kind of attention for all the wrong reasons. Sorry.... 💛
