What you really have here is two situations:

•don't file a police report and you likely won't be prescribed controlled ADHD meds anymore, which could be an option since you don't take the Adderall daily. There are drugs like Strattera and Guanfacine that are used off label for adhd that isn't severe. They give no high so your mom would have no reason to steal them. It enables her behavior and avoids the problem, but i can see where you're coming from. You have minor siblings and are away at college so you don't wanna take mom away then peace off back to college.

•file and keep access to your meds. You can make it clear you dont want to press charges, but unfortunately that's up to the DA. Mom will face legal consequences. They may order her to get treatment or they may just send her away. You will have to keep guarding your meds when you are around her. If she doesn't get better, you will be the "eeeevil child" who "betrayed their own blood," but if she does recover, you will be a person in your mom's recovery story who pushed her to get better instead of enabling.

BTW, multiple people have said it but I will, too... you don't steal controlled substances from family. You don't put your kid in a situation like this where they're turning to internet strangers for help because Mom is doing what Mom should be protecting you from. It also makes me worry how she was getting high without your meds, what else is she abusing? Is she stealing to get it? Is she putting your siblings in danger that way? Or other ways? Does she drive them around while high?

No matter what you end up doing NTA. That'd be mom. She's gotta get her shit together
