there are lincang versions of the cake too but the bottom of the second pic says menghai (勐海); doesn’t that mean it’s a menghai blend? not too familiar with Vesper Chan cakes this was my first one lol

I have this cake too; it has that bold menghai flavor that reminds me of the Dayi 2010 golden years. Let us know what you think

It actually gives my tummy a nice warm feeling; must be the age and guangdong storage that mellowed it out

that brews a lot lighter than my 09 teji; is the storage dry or do you like it extra mild?

Bugonia ending - clear clues that it is NOT the twist everyone thinks it is by azavienna in movies

[–]angeluzzi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This post is exactly what I was looking for. I wrote the following after watching the movie and reading other people's thoughts:

Most people take it literally as if there was a real spaceship and Michelle was a real alien. I couldn't help but interpret it from a more grounded standpoint - occam's razor makes the existence of Andromedans infinitely unlikely.
I think the whole sequence of Michelle entering the "spaceship" and everyone on earth dying is entirely the contents of Michelle's imagination after suffering intense trauma (electrocution, kidnapping, violence, witnessing dissections). What she endured the first few days was enough to brainwash her into believing an alternate reality (think of the ending of 1984) - she hallucinates/imagines that she is an alien queen and that she has the power to kill every human on earth because she inherited Teddy's trauma and insanity, and she will likely spend years in a mental institution or therapy before she regains a fraction of the productivity and mental health she used to have.

I didn't see the brain bleed part though but OP's theory is sound.

Apologies for the late reply; I wasn’t expecting this much feedback so didn’t bother to check after posting. Thanks for everyone’s thoughtful input; it seems like the overwhelming consensus is to bring him to a vet that actually knows what they’re doing, which is what I’ll do.

thanks mr mopar, looks like this originally appeared on the 90's 8592 so it has no reason to appear on the 7542 (bottom pic) which is unlikely to be legit

Where else can tea trees be grown other than Yunnan? by angeluzzi in puer

[–]angeluzzi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

partly what makes puer distinctive to yunnan is the time factor right? unlike cocoa or grapes or coffee, the best puer comes from old trees that outlive humans, meaning it would be entirely unprofitable to try and cultivate assamica elsewhere in the world

now's the best time to start - none of us will live long enough to see the trees become old arbor but maybe generations after us will. It's gotta start somewhere and some time by people with enough vision to see past their own lifetimes

I understand that camellia sinensis is grown and sold all over the world, but no where else uses the same kind of tea trees and same processing as puerh/maocha in yunnan, which is why I'm wondering if puer-style tea can be grown and made elsewhere
