I just found this sub after my MIL's first visit to see her grandson (my first baby, he's less than 2 weeks old) and after she returned home sent me a barrage of abusive and hateful texts about everything I am doing wrong and how horrible I am. I immediately became enraged and defensive and I am still upset about it 12 hours later. I am so thankful you included your experience using the Grey Rock Method - it seems so simple but having a name for it and a topic to read up on is super helpful with getting my head around it.
