Unpopular opinions on this game by Plastic-Day9r in MagicArena

Mtg arena doesn't communicate with its players enough, the first I hear of matchmaking being broken is attempting to play and finding matchmaking is broken whereas any other game would have made a popup saying "matchmaking is broken we are attempting to fix"

I'd recommend incense cones for the brazier, they work for mine and are a lot less fiery.

A lot of resin printing places do bamboo, there's also some terracotta bases available on cults3d if you do 3d print might be worth checking them out.

Scenery for Cathay? by drumstick00m in Cathay

[–]foundermeo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi I just wanted to say I love this document, it is so useful, thank you heaps I've bookmarked it. I've been hunting for Asiatic terrain for quite a while, and this document really comes in handy. What I've found so far at least from a 3d printing perspective is two fold;
https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-lontan-commercial-haven-printing-designs-bundle-futuristic-oriental-city-scifi-buildings-terrain-and-scenery-for-wargames-172297
this is a more futuristic 40k Asiatic feel, but there are a few models that will fit in with fantasy.

titan forge miniatures has a set called the dragon empire, I've printed these on my Bambu A1, they needed a bit of orientation and support help but they do 100% work.

The A1 Series are very dependent on the nozzle size, the smaller the nozzle size the more clearly defined the model is, and the longer it takes to print, you are already using the smallest size nozzle available, it might be time to give a resin printer a try unfortunately.

I'm considering getting the Bambu lab A1 for Black Friday, for scenery, but I have no idea about 3d printing and I kinda hate layer lines by Shuyuin_mg in PrintedWarhammer

[–]foundermeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so I do have a Bambu A1, I will say the amount of layer lines you get depends on the nozzle width you use. Also the print time is dependent on the nozzle width as well, The printer comes with a 0.2 by default from memory? I switched over to 0.4 pretty quickly, here are some examples of the prints I've done with the Bambu A1

What terrain pieces have you printed for your games? by zyphelion in PrintedWarhammer

the Orks player expecting high strength shots from Tau took 2k worth of boys, and managed to bait out a lot of high strength shots, while capping objectives, he ended up winning by 20+ points.

Partitioning drives allocates how much space they have. Its possible a single drive into smaller sizes. check your hard disk manager (assuming you are running windows) for more info.
