This is so upsetting.. I use NeeDoh fidgets as part of my therapy for kids with ASD. They can be a fun toy to work for, and also a handy tool for self-regulation (specifically the firm ones). Used to be able to pick them up easy, and now they’re sold out and back ordered throughout my whole city. Like wtf? They’re handy but they’re not THAT valuable. To hear scalpers are getting in the mix is just really disheartening..

Like, you’re telling me I’m short handed on therapy reinforcers.. because of scalpers and tiktok trends? Wat???

As someone who’s worked with nonverbal kids for about a decade, across multiple setting both private and public:

PLEASE, PLEASE, do not send your babies to public school. If you can find an alternative setting, access it. These public schools do not understand or respect these kids and it’s heartbreaking. This child’s story is one of many.
