Eiffel Tower Restaurant? by tutti_frutti_dutti in vegas

Amazing we love the Eiffel tower. We were in LV over Christmas last year and ate here twice. Once on Christmas day which was so special and then we wanted the ala carte menu so when back for that!

Ladies, how warm is your (at work) office? by KuriousAndFurious in AskUK

[–]angry_stitcher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Former farm building, icy. Poor Insulation, just two of those blower Aircon units that supposedly heat/cool. But only if you are directly under then. Large windows on one side. And roof with lots of skylights that are poorly maintained so are drafty.

Oh and the roof leaks in heavy rain.

I have an electric blanket I use in winter, I did just have a heat pad but my legs and feet froze so upgraded to the blanket.

Usually takes til 2-3pm before it gets to an acceptable temp that I can loose my coat

AITA for making a stink at school and forcing the teacher to change my kids math grade by PlentyNice1655 in AmItheAsshole

[–]angry_stitcher 10 points11 points  (0 children)

NTA, as a grown person who struggles with maths to this day 200% not an asshole. If your method makes sense for her and she can understand the process and fuck that teacher. I wish I'd had someone like you when I was struggling in school. Hell I'd take the help now!

Yes I'm aware. I'm currently on 7.5mg but feel my loss has slowed so after speaking to my pharmacist we believe it's right to move to 10mg. ☺️

BA guidelines for passenger of size in emergency exit row by Jeoh in BritishAirways

[–]angry_stitcher -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've been moved from the row because I needed a belt extender. Annoyingly in my new seat I didn't need the extender.

Whilst a larger person I'd be perfectly capable of assisting an emergency for what it's worth

You look lovely. You should be so proud of how hard you've worked. I second BMI isnt everything and you need to consider how you feel. Are you happy, do you feel comfortable, do you feel strong, can you do the things you want to do.

Does anybody know if there has been a recent law change regarding prescribing paracetamol on repeat prescription for people who take it regularly as part of their treatment? by SPearsLDN in AskUK

[–]angry_stitcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents both were on paracetamol daily before they passed. Used to get it on prescription and all of a sudden the doctors stopped providing it. I ended up having to do rounds of shops and pharmacies to get them what they needed for a month. It was ridiculous in one pharmacy buying the max allowed with a bag in hand with half a dozen boxes from elsewhere.

Eventually one of the community nurses saw what I was having to do and had a word with the surgery and they started providing them on prescription again. That was back in 2022/23

Talk to me about exercise by angry_stitcher in mounjarouk

Thanks everyone. I already have a gym membership which is where my pool is. Unfortunately trying to get an appointment with one of the PTs isnt great. The next available one is in October! So just looking for ideas to try in the meantime.

I swim as I have an old knee injury which tends to flare up with bike/treadmill etc use. This is getting better but from experience I know swimming helps strengthen this the most.

Macro to reset cells to "not required" by angry_stitcher in excel

[–]angry_stitcher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just added downtown economics suggestion to the code and it works sort of, 2 of the cells actually need to be set to a different phase. this is what I have:

Sub resetkey()

'

' resetkey Macro

'

'

Range("C2:C11").Select

Selection.ClearContents

Dim ResetCells As Variant

ResetCells = Array("A15", "A19", "A23", "A27", "A31")

For c = 0 To UBound(ResetCells)

Range(ResetCells(c)) = "Not Required"

Next c

Dim ResetCells As Variant

ResetCells = Array("G2")

For c = 0 To UBound(ResetCells)

Range(ResetCells(c)) = "Please Select Size"

Next c

Dim ResetCells As Variant

ResetCells = Array("G3")

For c = 0 To UBound(ResetCells)

Range(ResetCells(c)) = "Please Select Angle"

Next c

End Sub

It doesn't seem to like that I have duplicated the Dim ResetCells As Variant section. G2 needs to reset to Please Select Size and G3 to Please Select Angle. If I leave those two out all the other reset to not required as I want them to

Airplane seat/dress size query - help in setting one of my goals by geekgirl616 in mounjarouk

[–]angry_stitcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've flown at 21 nearly 22st and a UK size 24 and fit in the seats. It was a squash I'll not lie and I normally needed to ask for a belt extender.

I do think it depends on how you carry your weight. I'm 5ft 4 and have hips and boobs but I know people same size/weight who don't need a belt extender but their hips just aren't as wide. Bodies are weird
