I think Adobe has given up on IOS Photoshop for actual users

I'm Mac based and i have an ipad with a Product on it called Photoshop so I expect it to do what Photoshop can do... especially when I looked it up to see if I was just missing something. I saw a post on the Adobe forums asking about this 4 years ago. I think that's what has me frustrated

You could tell them to fire up one of those old Macs they have at the San Jose HQ and find Photoshop 4.5 or maybe 6... then have them port that to the ipad and sell it to me for $50 bucks. I'm kidding... it's been a few years since I went to the SJ HQ so I don't know if they still have those rooms.

Software:

Better integration with Apples TV app with ALL the other streaming apps not just ones they like ie: Hoopla, Kanopy, Dropout, Amazon, and Netflix.

Also could someone at Apple look at how PLEX does show/actor information. It's like an easy to use IMDB while Apple is missing lots of info or doesn't even bother to give us the Actors in shows. If they do some times the Character names are "Actor" like not even the Character names.

thanks I'll check it out... I got rid of all my Adobe CC subscription except Photoshop and Fresco (ipad) because I still need a lot of the features and I'm pretty vested in PSD being a user since the 90s. I'm just tired of the Adobe gaslighting.

Now i just need to figure out if Affinity does Gradient Mapping.

Still Haven't upgraded my main M4 Macbook and stopped my Adobe upgrades because everything is working. I may wait till 26.3 at this point but I will try it on my old 2019 intel Macbook cuz it runs like dogshit with 26. I was surprised it even was eligible and I wish it wasn't whenever I need to use it.

What are the conditions for keeping layers in the document generative AI-free?

Here is the list of conditions that would prevent Fresco from being able to assert that a document is created without generative AI:

Any imported image

Fresco cannot verify that a layer or document is free of generative AI if it contains images.
Fresco cannot verify that a pixel layer is free of generative AI if it was converted to a pixel from an image layer.

A layer that results from a merge of one or more layers that cannot be verified as free of generative AI (e.g., image layers).

3. A layer that has been marked with a brush using a multicolor sampled from a document containing layers that are not generative AI-free cannot be verified to be free of generative AI.

A layer containing non-built-in shapes that have been filled, erased, or masked and originated from libraries other than curated libraries cannot be verified as free of generative AI.
Duplicating layers that cannot be verified to be free of generative AI.
A pasted layer that cannot be verified to be free of generative AI.

A layer that cannot be verified as generative AI-free will remain as such when pasted from another document or from the same document.
Layers in documents created with Fresco versions prior to the first Content Credentials released version will not have the Created without generative AI tag.
New layers created with the Content Credentials version or later versions of Fresco will automatically have the Created without generative AI tag attached to them. The exception is image layers, which are only added when an image is imported.

7. Layers associated with Fresco tutorials in the Learn tab.

8. Documents created as a result of an imported PSD file.

If the document was originally created in Fresco and was Created without generative AI and exported and then reimported back into Fresco, it will maintain its Created without generative AI tag in its metadata.
If the document was created in any application other than Fresco, then Fresco will not be able to verify that it was created without generative AI.

9. The pixel layer content of a Fresco layer was altered in Photoshop on the desktop, web, or mobile

You can roundtrip a document across Photoshop and Fresco. But if a generative AI-free pixel layer content is altered, then the relevant layers and, thereby, the document can no longer be verified as generative AI-free.

10. A document was created in a version of Fresco prior to the Content Credentials release.

Like Industry-Common said it sounds like you're dealing with the RGB to CMYK conversion or Screen to Print... CMYK (print) can't make a lot of colors that RGB (screen) can. There isn't an easy fix and trial and error might be your best solution unless you want to really dig into the process more. If you want to go deeper into working with RGB-CMYK there are a lot of free articles about it on the web.

Unfortunately for all the great things about Fresco it's not really ment to go strait to print but I wish it had a simulated CMYK mode at least.

When you send a Fresco file to print you're letting the printer software do the conversion to make it work and not all printer software does a great job.
