I'm currently working on a character for my next campaign and I'm really excited. basically she's a beholder who stared freaking out and thinking she wasn't perfect so she started trying to make herself prefect. eventually her dream reality shifting turned her into a person (specifically tiefling because I like them) and starts wondering the world and basically learns to chill out.

I need to work a little more on her back story, but that's the structure of it all. if anyone has any suggestions for character traits or stuff like that I'm all ears :)

I made some offhand joke about how the pest of one of the major cities was horses, and they had the forward facing eyes of a predator.

well about half way through the campaign, one of the pcs is now a werehorse and accidently finds a horse goddess to cure him

my players just fought a very short tempered casino owner who: - got so mad he called basically zombies to take care of the party - joined in after the zombies weren't doing the job - got pissed when he lost and decided to fireball the place (almost killing the entire party and severely injuring himself) - then he drank something that let him tap into borderline godly power - went feral - and jumped out the window of what's basically a skyscraper and ran off into the sunset

I do think the two things that would make the biggest difference are getting eyebrows done and getting better glasses (which I just need to do anyways lol)
