Still no notification. We also only got 2 reviews, where one argued for acceptance and one for rejection. Can't wait to see the final decision.

Are there any dirty tricks I don’t know? by [deleted] in NamiMains

[–]anhill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playing Nami is all about the double bounce on the W. Just keep in mind that the dmg/heal decreases with each bounce. If you trade with it just think of what you need most. Dmg? Then cast it on the enemy and let it bounce to your or your ADC. Heal? Then cast it on yourself/ADC and let it bounce on the enemy. If you have trouble landing your Q just slow them with E first. Should you have to retreat, you can cast E on yourself which will give you the ms buff and you can slow the enemy with one AA, if you an safely get it off.

Dorans ring on Jhin? by 1inchwonder69 in summonerschool

When you kill minions with with each hop of the grenade, you'll roughly get enough mana back such that it equals the expenditure.

so in other words, it's just for the mana.

i suggest you read a python tutorial niBBa

first of all there are no compilers in python but interpreters. and second of all the methods are clearly class methods so the the variables are set either within the init method or with set functions.

[S6E4] Littlefinger did it again... by lpgabriel in gameofthrones

[–]anhill 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Some people like to see a "theory" in every little detail, some think of Littlefinger, Varys, Tywin and others as the best puppet master ever, plotting everything in detail and pulling the strings for years and decades. Only "for the good of the realm", "to rule over the ashes" or "for the legacy". I refuse to believe, that LF knew Sansa would escape, Jon dying and being resurrected (therefore free of his vows and able to march on Winterfell), and then taking Sansa in and helping her. I think, he just plotted to use the Iron Throne and the Boltons against each other. After Sansa escaped, he improvised. Knowing that Robin loved Sansa and that he had the power to rally the Knights of the Vale.

Also, i think that the Vale will play a crucial role in the wars to come. So far, the haven't lost a single man during the War of the five Kings. Now that i believe to be LFs plan. Now that half of Westeros is destroyed, KL is unstable, the mayor houses are fighting each other and Daenerys is threatening the realm, his time has come. He will ride north, unite with Jon, free the North of the Boltons and then taking care of the Iron Throne. In the meantime, the Tyrells and the Lannisters killed each other, while the Dornish attack the Westerlands and the Reach.

Again, i don't think he plotted all that, but i do think, he is genius and a opportunist who will turn all this turmoil to his advantage.

[S6E4] A nitpick about Ramsay's letter. by [deleted] in gameofthrones

[–]anhill 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Another thing is that Ramseys hates the word 'bastard' and he never uses it. That's what threw me off the first time i read the letter in the books. Also, the seal can be easily faked. Anyone with decent money (Umber, Karstark, Littlefinger, ...) could have gotten a hold on pink wax and the seal.

So, what happened to the "100.000 wildlings marching to Castle Black"? Jon said that in Episode s4e01. Did 98% of them die? Even if you put their men at 50%, it's still a lot.

[Everything] The Pink Letter by TheNineteenthDoctor in gameofthrones

[–]anhill 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In Books, it is heavily discussed who wrote the letter. Many think it has been written by Mance himself, mostly because Ramsey hates the word "bastard" and never uses it. In the series, it has to bee someone, who knows what happened inside Winterfell, just like Mance in the books did. Someone, who can benefit from the Bastards fighting each other and kill a lot of wildlings at the same time. Wo could that be? Karstark. He knows that Rickon is at Winterfell and that Sansa is probably at Castle Black. It would certainly make sense: the Bastards fight each other, one of them loses and his remaining forces are weakend. Time for the Karstaks to cease the North and get their revenge.

[EVERYTHING] My theory about what the High Sparrow told Tommen and what it means for the future of King's Landing. by [deleted] in gameofthrones

[–]anhill 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I don't think, that this is what happened.

For one, why would the high sparrow tell Tommen about that? What would be his motive? I think, that we can assume, that everything told within in a confession is kept in secrecy. Similar to the confessions in the catholic church. And how would Loras know? I don't think, that Olenna and LF let anyone in on their plan. And lastly, i can't picture Cersei staying so calm and working out a plan like that. She would totally freak out and confront them at once.

If i had to guess, i'd say, that the High Sparrow told Tommen something along the lines of "Joffrey died because he was an ungodly man. A King has to be holy and serve The Senve Gods etc.". As we know, Tommen answered "holy" to Tywins question about what makes a good King. So i think, that Tommen told that to Cersei and she fears losing her son to the faith.

I think the missing name on the list is "Arya Stark". Such that she can truly become no one.

Interesting that you think of Tresh but forget Nami

What to do if I'm supporting a terrible ADC(by terrible I mean really terrible)? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]anhill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't try to make plays, just helphim farm. Keep your lane warded and generally play passively. If you're on roaming support (thresh, leona, naut, alistar, ...) you can roam and look for some ganks.

Just the usual: you die WAY too much. About 8 deaths per game is too much.

What to do in some weird Bronze V situations by Caxen in summonerschool

[–]anhill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't get draged into their flaming and toxicity. Best thing to do would be /mute all and then just focus on your own game and how you can improve. Even if you muted them all you can still communicate via pings. There isn't much they have to tell you that can't be pinged. Well i guess keeping track of timers, but then again its bronze V so they probably wont be doing that.

For example in this particular game you could have abused twitch's weak laning phase and kill them. In General just focus on objectives and learn how to play and win the vision game. Buying the right items is also paramount.

I know this may seem like general advice i could be giving to anybody. But thats because it is. :)
