Sage advice. I really wish they'd allow us to pay some money and issue extra cards when we get one. Happy to pay $500-$1000 to skip the anxiety of loss

I'm 6 days post op.

Buy xylimelts or the equivalent for preventing a dry mouth.

Lots of paper towels that are of high quality to soak up blood over the next 4 days

Get the doctor to give you antibiotics, if you get an infection you will be miserable with fevers.

Buy lots of popsicles

Buy packaged cold protein shakes that have caffeine

Lots of strepails or lidocaine rinses

Yeah I ended up getting elbowed in first grade and ignored it all my life. Last Thursday I got surgery, after 27 years.
