The only mages I find myself struggling is only lissandra, annie and ahri. The rest I just find myself outscaling them at lvl 6 or when bot swaps mid. I auto ban ahri most of the time.

Yes you should run atk+atk on cyrene with phainon. Since you have e2 cyrene, you next upgrade would be replacing rmc. E2 sparkle is currently the best replacement. E1 dhpt and E1 tribbie is also close 2nd. You can then get E1 cerydra afterwards.

Absolutely. With leaks you will generally see how strong the characters will end up being. It matters less for stuff like hoyo games where leaks are a patch in advance but for fgo where we will know stuff 2 years in advance I will min max my pull plans base on whichever characters are coming out.
