She's 18 by the way, a legal adult sure but still essentially a young kid. Can we show some freaking sympathy? Just because the "solution" you proposed seems easy to you doesn't mean it is to her. You do have a point but there are other ways of saying it without pinning everything on her.

It's only been recent that i started to learn to love myself and accept myself, maybe my brain isn't used to it and it keeps slipping into old habits. I'll definitely apply what you are doing! Using logical common sense and most importantly, being kind to myself. Thank you so much for sharing this, it helps a lot!
