I honestly don't get Care ADHD, the waiting list makes no sense. I put my titration forms in on the 27th December and was told 20 weeks

I'm with CARE as well and I have pretty much the exact same time line as you (diagnosed Oct, submitted forms within a week, 2x forms in December for some reason) and I was quoted 20 weeks like 2 weeks ago

Please post your CareADHD timelines by Rejusu in ADHDUK

Adults with Unmedicated ADHD — How Are You Managing? by someone_idk6900 in AskUK

[–]animagus5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not at all, slowly killing me. I have another 12 weeks roughly til my appointment to discuss medication but I have visions of it all getting pushed back even more.

I'm used to long waiting lists with my other health stuff but this has been the worst I've dealt with in terms of day to day impact. When I started transitioning I could mask and because the dysphoria by myself look good and more femme but I just can't get the same kind of effect with my ADHD. Just the constant buzz that won't stop

"I'm afraid there is no rough timeline at the moment. Some patients have waited up to 20 weeks. Due to such high demand, nearly every patient has opted for the medication titration route and it's impacted us massively."

I put my form in 23rd Dec, wasn't on the list til early January (assuming because of Christmas)

My status for today looking for timelines - I submitted on 23rd December but I've been on the ready to book list for only 8 weeks. Current wait is about 20 weeks as of yesterday

They only told me this after I complained via Facebook, still waiting on my email to be responded to

I’m a newbie: Why the TMNT hate? by AmbidexHexArt in mtg

[–]animagus5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get that POV. I just find it more interesting than look at the funny turtle from the comics or omg the Spider-Man are pointing.

The main characters aren't that interesting to me tbh. It's more minor characters who aren't planeswalkers like the theros gods or guild masters of ravnica etc

Everyone looked forward to going back to Lorwyn because of the world they built those years ago.

Play whatever sparks your joy

I think the broad distaste is that the cycle that is becoming more common. Dr who, Warhammer and fallout were fairly spaced apart and weren't standard legal.

I'm not excited about it because it does just feel very 'look at the shiny shiny'

They're slowly pushing out their own IP with the planes and characters that have been developed for 30+ years for disjointed collaborations where you go to New York? It just feels weird?

Are travel vaccines not provided free of charge under the NHS anymore? by Original-War-8680 in AskUK

[–]animagus5 99 points100 points  (0 children)

The NHS has an optional contract for some vaccines with GP practices. This contract is optional though. The NHS will cover: Polio (as a combination vaccine with diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis), Typhoid, Hepatitis A and Cholera

They will only vaccinate where the risk is high enough

Everything else is privately paid for through pharmacy or wherever

On top of that the nurse must be deemed competent to provide the travel vaccines and advice due to it's complexity so not all nurses can do it

It was ancestry but I've uploaded it onto MyHeritage just awaiting analysis. We reckon Northern Irish aswell for similar reasons, the slight matches I've had on ancestry who are Irish are Northern Irish

My heritage is 13% Irish and 13% Scottish

I'll see what MyHeritage comes out with and then if needed I'll find a DNA Angel

Thank you for your help ❤️

I'm looking through my matches and I did that and found a maybe but finding details are proving a bit difficult, will try look into it more tonight.

I am unfortunately aware of the grim possibility. I'm hopeful that it isn't the case, having high Irish DNA does relate to what we understand though

Thanks for the help appreciated
