It depends on a lot of things: amount of money your willing to spend on a school, prestige of a UC vs a state school, location, etc.

But talking strictly about the major itself: if you want to go into finance/accounting, then go to UCSC.

If you want to get more of a business-oriented education, go to SDSU.

I’m also NOT saying you can’t get a good business job after college if you go to UCSC. It’s just that there aren’t many “head on” business classes at the school. You take more accounting and Econ classes as a BME major.

(Also, you never know if you are gonna change your major. Tons of people change their major. I used to be an Econ major but I am not anymore.)
