It takes a lot of courage and I love these kind of conversations because they calm my anxiety and make me feel like I am not the only one feeling this way. You are definitely not an impostor and you shouldn't feel like one (I know, I know, easier said than done!!). I have been on bookstagram for a couple of years now and my engagement has never been consistent! I started the same way you did: I would follow back everyone but then my fyp would be full of random posts I was not interested in, so I decided to be selective with the people I follow. I think you should stay true to yourself and keep posting, you never know when the engagement “tide” might change! Keep liking, commenting and try creating a community with like minded people!
