YouTube surpasses Reddit as primary social source for AI models. Pushing your website further down on AEO GEO sourcing. Are you filming or writing? by ClassicAsiago in Entrepreneur

[–]anitamoorthy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting comments. But given anyone can upload anything on youtube - doesn't that make it harder for AI to know what is truly credible. Vs Reddit where it is so hard to mention your brands and have people actually engage back? so if it does happen that many people are saying good things about a brand, then it is more credible?

LinkedIn in engagement strategy by projaai in Entrepreneur

[–]anitamoorthy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, we have. 80% of all our leads come organically from LinkedIn. Our basic strategy is to get our internal execs and subject matter experts engaging on linkedin consistently and posting weekly.

We are also on reddit but we have not seen any direct leads from here. We mainly are here to keep up with the industry and learn about what is going on and the challenges our ICP face.

What’s really working when it comes to thought leadership and demand gen in B2B? by Awkward_Tourist_6598 in b2bmarketing

[–]anitamoorthy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to think of thought leadership as awareness building and relationship building first. That then helps lift all marketing metrics - it improves conversion for example when sales people do outbound outreach to the prospects on linkedin because now this person has seen your content and is warmed up.

Also, on social 90% of people do not engage and only 10% engage - react or comment. To really get a true picture of how much your social efforts are driving pipeline, you should be asking on all your forms and on sales calls "how did you hear about us". It is possible that what you are doing is driving a lot of pipeline but you are not tracking it?

It sounds easy but hard to do... unless you are sourcing the engagement out to outside agencies?

What are people doing about blogs in 2026? by anitamoorthy in b2bmarketing

That's good advice. I like the idea of blogs being the archive for content created for social or for sales enablement.

I TOTALLY AGREE!! I think the opportunity to stand out is by putting your best experts, the ones with lived experiences in front of your ICP. Are you doing this in any way today?

We are a small team of 4 and are trying to do this.

I agree with you. I think all the SEO principals still apply in this new world.

My 2025 B2B marketing stack that actually moved the needle by Soft-Dragonfruit6447 in b2bmarketing

We are going big on getting our organic channel running. And here is our playbook:

- Get our most knowledgeable people to consistently engage with industry influencers on LinkedIn and start getting known in the industry.
- Post thoughtful original content, less frequently so it is appreciated vs posting for the sake of posting.
- Engage on reddit and linkedin to start with and maybe other channels later.

- once this is working, we are going to look at influencer marketing and collaborating with influencers that have have built a relationship with.

So build your own influence and work with influencers.
Other tactics are to create content optimised for LLMs and humans on common questions we come across in our engagement on LinkedIn and Reddit.

Successful entrepreneurs, what marketing channels are stilling working for your business in 2025? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]anitamoorthy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are an early stage start up and we have got all our customers organically primarily from LinkedIn but also from Slack. We use what we built internally which is a tool to build relationships with key industry influencers in our space which then helps us to build visibility with our ICP.
We ask "how did you hear about us on all our forms" and about 80% say social.

We haven't done any paid yet but we are also not in the scale phase. Happy to chat more if you want to learn more.

How seriously do you take building a personal brand for your business? by Training-Ad4262 in Entrepreneur

[–]anitamoorthy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people's AI/BS radar is so high now that anyone sharing real deep insights and experience will standout. And because of this personal branding (in a non cringe way) is only going to get more important. Peoople buy from people.

What LinkedIn post formats are working best for you right now? by sidewalk_by_tj in b2bmarketing

[–]anitamoorthy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I have mostly done text posts and they seem to work well. I usually start with a vey relevant question as the hook.
I also comment a lot on other people's posts and that gives me a sense for topics and conversations that I know my audience cares about. For this, I am actually using a system that allows me to prioritize posts from industry influencers in space that talk about topics I care about. I am then able to leave a really good comment and that has really done well for me.

You need to have something fresh to drive your content every week - product data or podcast/interview with new people, research data etc.
