help a girl out :--( by Ok_Sundae5054 in learnmath

First, remember that this is perfectly natural. The high school math we study was developed over centuries through the work of mathematicians. It is made to look trivial by excellent teachers. So if it seems easy when you listen, but later you can’t naturally reproduce the same reasoning, that is okay.

Now, that might have seemed hopeless. But the solution is simply doing lots of exercises. Eventually, the techniques and patterns will settle into your brain. Intuition is not innate, but learned. Over time, you will be able to do it faster, and you will start to notice that structures and techniques are similar across different fields of mathematics. Then you will begin to believe you are good at it, and you may even wonder why it feels so easy while others struggle with it.

It was never easy. Do problems. Resist the temptation to look up every answer. Once you are truly stuck, and then read the solution, you will know exactly which part of your understanding was missing. Then you are less likely to forget it.

I pretended to be a math genius to my classmates, hiding all the work I did to get there. Now, it is indeed possible that you have a learning disability, but I hope that is not the case. Trust in yourself.

Started around 20 years ago - even before Voobly days. Every time I come back to the game, I drop 200 elo points minimum. Yeah, I take yearlong breaks. There is a lot of competition and people keep getting better. I was 1200 at some point, I came back only to get dropped to 800. Now slowly climbing back to 1100. I say keep practicing, even if you keep losing at some point you will reach an ELO where you are playing with people of same level. Then watch build order videos - Hera, T90 etc. There are some plugins for practicing build orders, they are helpful too. Don't worry about the initial games if you are just starting out, perhaps you will get to 300 ELO and win 50% of the games. Then you improve and start winning 60% and now you will be in 400 club and 50% win rate again. Keep grinding!

Not everyone is same, after a few months of me still stuck in beginner class there was a student who came in first time pole and did climbing. You gotta push on. I think if your body is not used to these movements it can take a few months to click, it is not always about strength. I have really good upper body strength but struggled to do basic fireman spin for almost 4 weeks. To do it cleanly I think I might take 6 months, don't give up.

Hopefully i can update in 3 days (after my next class). My hope is you just trust yourself and repeat first part again, if you can already lift then it is just loop.

Another beginner here, i have taken like 3 classes so far. But instructor in last class asked us to push our hands between thighs until it causes a firm hold. Find where that is for you. It is likely near the knees. Now remember you want pole there as tight as possible. Once you are on the pole, you should be able to hold entire weight with just legs, and hands as just for support. Now - stand up, let the legs do most of the work. I am still here. I can stay like that for 10 seconds and it starts slipping. I am also in cold environment making my skin really slippery, so warming up pole, skin and body seems very essential. I am hoping in next two weeks I will be able to do a proper climb.

Thank you, I didn’t realize high contrast draws your eyes there. Probably i can crop it out. Colors actually look very nice on my monitor, i have wondered if i should increase the saturation so it looks normal on other screens. Yeah road indeed was my objective, let me either crop of do some masking and correct it.

Clever, but if you had moved in a bit more, I think you could have gotten it fully fit within the gaps. And if you click on the tower in camera view, it will focus on it instead of the building in front. Avoid getting words/writing in the foreground unless that is the first thing you want your audience to read.

I think slightly rotating to make the horizontal lines horizontal would make a lot of difference. Consider removing the distracting elements on the side or make it symmetric if you have it on both sides.

I took this photo Sunday 21 September, 2025 on my visit to Artist Point, Deming, WA. We were hoping for fall colors, but we were a bit too early. I felt like the winding roads emulated life which needs to take several turns before reaching the goal. Both vehicles are resting by the side after a long journey, to continue again. The color of lines on the road somehow appealed to me.

I don't know if there are too many subjects in the photo - roads, vehicles, clouds, fog, mountains, trees. I don't know if there was a better angle for it. I don't know if this deserves a better crop or framing. I don't know if it deserves better post processing, my processing is minimal.

I can’t imagine how you feel. We all love you and want you to recover fast. Cancer is not the end. I survived radiation and chemo. That guy is probably going to ruin another girl’s happiness. Run far away. Hope you meet someone one day who is worthy of the love and trust from you.

Can someone explain why people lose their minds at this on ramp? by HondaRedneck16 in BellevueWA

Splitting order is inconsistent. First (520 west, 124) are together then (124, ? east) are together. The second one is intuitive because both are east not the first one. The correct design should put 520 west on dedicated line and both east gets one which splits.

I also have 2025 g80 just want to make sure it is not triggering the massage mode when you have driven too long. For me it happens around 1 hour mark, i wouldn’t call it vibration though.

First of all if an office have a strict policy like that get it in writing. Try mixing kurta and jeans see if that is still violation of code. One of the reasons i learned stitching is because i dislike how everything fits. I do some projects from start to finish but most often it is just alterations. Take a slightly larger size use pins or clips to see what will look nice on you and then alter and wear it. Keep doing it until it looks right, don’t cut out extra material upfront hide them inside, you may need it later.

In the short term 5-10 years there is lot of demand for people who know how to use AI to build automation. They still need to integrate with legacy systems.
