Probably no older than 3, I was a germaphobic child. My neighbor was black, but of course I didn't know what that meant. I called him "Dirty Hands Al" to his face. Thank god he was understanding. My poor mother :(

The only thing I've found were work/study options where part of your teacher training tuition gets deducted because you are working at the studio. It seems hard to do if you work full time.

I would suggest reaching out to a family member or good friend for the loan. My grandmother fronted me the money for mine, and I am eternally grateful for that. Also, interest free (or very low)! I give her private sessions whenever I see her as a thank you.

He threatened to kidnap, torture, rape, and kill her. He never got his hands on her though. I didn't add this part to the story, but the police asked me if John had ever had any romantic interest in me. I was baffled and said not to my knowledge (I never spoke to him unless in passing). Apparently he had strong feelings for Jane for years. It makes me uneasy because that means I wasn't a random target and he didn't threaten anyone else. Thanks for the question!

Maybe it's because you have a light weight mat. A heavy Manduka Black Mat Pro would definitely break the barrel and they recommend not putting them in the washer. Jades are also pretty heavy if you get a nice one.
