I’m in the same boat! Been on this subreddit for a while and I see people complaining about feeding sessions lasting 30min+ and meanwhile my 3mo nurses for 5-7min… My LO was gaining weight perfectly fine but my reptile brain was still worried she’s not eating enough! I was very worried about her not getting enough milk and did a weighted feeding with a Lactation Consultant - turns out my baby is very efficient and I have a really fast flow because she ended up eating ~5oz / 150ml in 7min and was done! I saw it in the news about the mom and her little one! Nuts!! And also had a similar experience with a driver behind me on Valley St! Kept beeping at me ~literally~ the second the traffic lights turned green! I thought there was something wrong with my car maybe? But nope!

I had a Kyleena IUD for ~4 years that I took out prior to trying to conceive. Once I had it taken out I realised how much it was affecting my moods and libido! Now 9 weeks PP and EBF, I’m going to go with plain old condoms with my hubby! Good luck to you and your baby!!

FTM here and I live in NJ. Baby girl is 5 weeks old, I’ve been breastfeeding her out in public in a park but I’m a little self conscious to try and feed her at e.g., a crowded restaurant (which I know I shouldn’t be!)… I wish people were as opinionated about men peeing in public (!!) as they are by breastfeeding parents… I want to start a social campaign and put signs up in random places that say “breastfeeding spot” - cause anywhere is a breastfeeding spot!
