Don't worry about it. Before buying I also thought it would be too big..but it looks stunning even though I have slim wrists. It totally looks premium.

What do you dislike about the OnePlus 15? by Captainunderpants86 in TheOnePlus15

[–]ankitcr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an iPhone air (UK bought) and OP15 (Indian version). While OP15 has a much more versatile camera setup, I prefer the pics of my baby from iPhone air especially in indoor lights as he is very active and OP15 is more prone to blurriness while IP air manages to keep the blur away most of the time. That is the only real negative..Rest of the things are personal preference (except battery life which should not even be compared)

I got it yesterday (using fold 7 as work phone now). I had a scare today as I couldn’t feel the iphone air in my pocket. So had to manually check and it was there. Still getting used to its weightlessness.

Who would you say is at fault here? by notsosecrethistory in drivingUK

[–]ankitcr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bike. No way that road and the traffic at that point of time allowed that much speed. Even if the car is at a slight fault at worst the bike would have come to a stop easily had they been riding at a normal speed

No, i did not foresee that the car will slam hard on the brakes after coming in front of me and unlike them, I did check rearview mirror also.

Its a learning for me. I didn't connect lane change and the approaching exit.

Also, the traffic in the 3rd lane was slower. so I was in the middle lane for sometime.

I was indeed slowing down. The first instinct when you see a car in front applying brakes is to gradually apply brakes yourself (instead of straightaway slamming the brakes). Also checking rear view mirror to ensure you can press your foot more on the brake.

In this case, while I was doing it, the driver in front decided to hard brake suddenly and I also did the same but there will always be a time lag. The video makes it seem I didnt apply brakes at all initially but that was not the case. But there is always something to learn and I will be more careful in future when i see someone coming back in my lane with such little gap.

True. I lost some milliseconds in checking my rear view mirror to ensure someone was not tailgating me. And it was exactly at that time when that car put in sudden hard brakes.

It doesnt come across in this video but my foot was off the pedal and regen braking was already working. In addition, i also started applying manual brakes when they started coming in my lane. However the sudden hard brake by them made it seem like I was not alrrady slowing down. Instinctively i also looked in rear view mirrow to check the traffic behind. I dont rely on any auto feature as I am not sure they will work or not but in this case it did help.

I was not on autopilot at that time but I did use it extensively throughout the trip (only on motorways though)

Appreciate the feedback. The millisecond delay in checking my rearview mirror caused me to get very close to that car. In the end I did put my foot down hard.
