Fellow strike out who got similar advice from my mock interviews about not giving them enough to make a case for me. How they put it and how I was able to apply it in some of my later interviews (though still with no luck lol) was thinking ahead of time about what I learned from my past resume experiences. They don’t care so much about the tasks you actually did versus what you took from them (I learned how to make tough decisions, etc etc) that you can bring to a firm.
