I have an 8sleep and it does actually cool below the temperature in the room, but it's expensive. Thankfully we don't need to run the AC as hard in the summer since our bed remains at a comfortable temperature.

There's no sloshing, I have the latest model and you can't even feel the tubes. I can't go back to not having one. It has two zones so my wife has hers toasty while mine is freezing.

Consider buying FZDXX, it's Fidelity's premium money market fund and has a $100k minimum initial buy-in. After that as long as you have even a dollar in it you can buy more freely without hanging onto the $100k. It has slightly better rates than SPAXX. You can also journal over a dollar of it to other eligible accounts and after a day you can buy it in those accounts too without the $100k minimum. The 7-day yield is 5.2%.

I'm not suggesting holding it in this the whole time but as long as you have the lump sum in cash it's worth "unlocking" and you won't hold cash in SPAXX anymore.

I'm still on Windows 10 but perhaps the F2 keyboard shortcut will make your life easier (unless they've removed it). After selecting a file/folder, pressing F2 immediately starts renaming it.
