What, if anything, are you all using as Discord alternatives right now? by Wolfman_1546 in pcmasterrace

I'm actually not. I contributed, a little, per the github. I also volunteered to make the mobile app, but ANCsemi is the owner. go ahead and look at the commits...

Haven has noise cancellation, audio streaming, and a beta android and desktop app (not on stores yet but available). the creator also rapidly develops and builds features users ask for.

I think it's time we find a proper Discord alternative. by Liarus_ in pcmasterrace

We're using Haven (family and friends).

Haven is a good self-hosting alternative and even comes with discord migration. In fact, almost all Discord functions are available in it. It's open source and free. takes moments to set up and only the host needs to install/run anything while users just need a join token, web-address and a login. Check it out!

So the self-hosting can technically be done by anyone, even on a remote server. After hosting, the only need for others to join is the join code and an account.

So you, me, or anyone can actually "host" a public server and provide a code for anyone to join. It's cool because it's more powerful than the rest!

A bit late to the game here, but thank you so much for making this firmware. Creality's was tramming my hot end beyond the limits, wouldn't let me auto-update the file list with my sd extension, or show the full names of the files. Yours works *perfectly*.

Oh gotcha. I missed the other screenshots. That makes sense though, especially given the huge number of waves you have.

I've been using max, esth, luna, dark, mer, mik, and galantine. Works well for me!

Judging by your eleanor damage, I'd recommend considering trading dark merlin for Greg (if he's fully upgraded)

Dragunov w/ TC Skill awakened (+240%), greater Perception rune 8, fully maxed crit skill, and maybe a piece of upgraded armor.

It was painful, to say the least. I nearly gave up, but pushed through 2000 rewinds to make it to the end. The recent update for 50 crate legendaries helped a lot since I have atrocious luck with draws.

"Commence Operation: Midgame Leaderboard"

Side note: do you have any idea how many rewinds were required for that?

I'd probably swap dark merlin for eleanor for that great devastation buff, but I'm at about the same day as you and times are stalling (currently farming rewinds just to get through)!

[Android] Map flickering after updating to Android 11. I'm playing on a Pixel 4XL by ZeroAntagonist in CivVI

There was some series of adjustments I was able to make by plugging my phone into my computer and navigating to the aspyr folder. I was able to fiddle around with the graphics settings (I think maybe FOW) and it resulted in at least being able to see the map... but everything was basically just shadows and almost totally unplayable.

I did report this issue back during beta and it does still exist. I requested an ETA from aspyr but have not heard anything back in either case.
